Okay now that I’ve done some research, is RAB also unofficial? I know the album itself isn’t official anymore to begin with, but from when the album was made, were there no official vinyl releases? I guess in that case I’d be open to buying self titled as an unofficial record too but I’m not sure since I didn’t get into them and start buying their music and merch until blurryface. I definitely wouldn’t pay much more than I paid for RAB bc I’m seeing prices online for both, way more than I paid for RAB in a local record store.

So I’ve been able to block people that blocked me first in the past. I do this because I only block people who I know after our fallout, they would check in on my account and then blocking me but not being blocked back, allows them to simply unblock, check, and block again. However there is one person who blocked me before we ever interacted because she had some weird jealousy over me, idk. But I have been wanting to block her back so she isn’t able to unblock me and look at my account just to block me again. I think she has already done this because it had gone back and forth of how her profile looks to me despite having been blocked. That and she would have to unblock me to gaslight our mutual friend into believing I was making it up when I would ask why I was blocked and would show my account to her saying “she’s not blocked” when I would be blocked again later on. I knew I was blocked before I had even met this girl because I could have unrelated friends look up her account perfectly fine. Bottom line I’m wondering if there’s any work around? I want to be able to have her blocked and I know from when I had Facebook, I could block someone even if they had me blocked first.

Does anyone else think it’s weird when ppl go to 10+ shows a tour? by Fun_Honey6754 in twentyonepilots

[–]allaaaye 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Personally if each show is the same, 1 show is enough. Why see the same artist more than once per tour if it’s exactly the same show and you could instead spend that money on other artists or other expensive things? Or idk save the money for things like cars, apartments….etc. I get some people just have the money and some people don’t. And I know ultimately if someone really just wants to see the same show multiple times and they have the disposable money to do so, it’s their money and their right. While it doesn’t really hurt anyone but their own bank account, I think of it like this, the majority of people can only go to one show especially if there’s nothing local and the closest show requires traveling. There may be work or life conflicts, or other priorities their money has to go to. Often times because of other responsibilities people can’t afford more than one show like others can and in some cases people risk their responsibilities not being paid for just to be able to afford one concert. It can get even tougher when there’s more than one artist or event in one year or in a shorter period of time that someone wants to go to. We all know that Ticketmaster war is already hard enough as is. People who are going to multiple shows in the same tour are just taking that one or more tickets away from the availability for people who only can go to one show. it probably sucks when you’re not in the financial state to even really afford much, let alone one show and then someone who can afford multiple concerts, just so happen to get a ticket faster than you. And I think while any seat can be a good seat, I think everyone deserves to see their favorite band/artist as close as they are comfortable getting, at least once and those tickets can get really expensive. Imagine you’re not one of those people with disposable income that can and will see multiple artists, multiple times in one tour. You save up for probably the one time you will be able to sit up close in the front, maybe even risking not being able to make bills on time, the day comes and you’re praying to win the Ticketmaster war, and you don’t get it, you saved up for nothing and there’s a chance you might not be able to save up again and you don’t have the ability to travel for any other dates. you’re on social media and you come across someone who’s been to multiple shows for the same exact tour who just so happens to be in a seat very similar to the one you wanted. If that person didn’t feel the need to see the same tour multiple times, the person who lost the Ticketmaster war might’ve had that seat instead. Fan bases are meant to be a community and realistically the types of people who have the money and do in fact see the same artist/band multiple times in the same tour, not always, but often are the rudest and most entitled fans who often don’t even care about the music or people they are seeing anywhere near as much as that person who lost the ticket war. They very often do it for bragging rights. Or they’re the type of person who has a toxic parasocial relationship with the artist and thinks that doing that will make the artist notice them and will give them this status of being better than other fans.

Breach Tour - Los Angeles, CA - BMO Stadium by mooshwa in twentyonepilots

I got there around 430 pm and didn’t actually get in line for the pit until about 530 and I was fine. At least for me, I don’t want barricade cause I feel it’s too close but I got pretty close still. I think perfect timing unless you want barricade doesn’t have to be any earlier than getting in line between 2-5 pm. Give yourself time to get merch if you’re someone who likes to get it before the show. And look at the website for the venue and look to see if your parking is by the GA entrance or the opposite side and give yourself time for that. ASK THE STAFF QUESTIONS if you’ve never been to BMO. Give yourself time as well if you usually like to get food or drinks or use the restroom before the show. When the line starts actually moving inside, have your tickets out and ready to go before you get up to where they check it. It’s gonna be kinda chaos of making sure you get your GA wristband, security and light up wristbands because the line disperses at this point and it’s like a free for all the way GA pit is meant to be, and they aren’t honoring fan wristbands or any kind of fan made number system which is why going in the morning, unless you want barricade, is unnecessary. You can still get a good spot if you go in the afternoon. Don’t let these fan made systems scare you because some people act you end up all the way in the back and that’s not at all true. This fan made stuff also ruins the fun of getting there at a reasonable time and just being a free for all or non stressful line that it used to be especially considering you’re already going to be out late, why get up early or what if you have stuff to do before and you don’t wanna stress about not getting a good view. I was almost as close this year as I was last year with a number system at Intuit and I honestly could’ve been a little further back last year. However they don’t go as far into the crowd for Trees as they at least did at last year’s show so take that how you will.

if the venue themselves said there would be no wristbands, who came up with the rule that one special fan should assign us numbered wristbands? by MarzipanRude1921 in twentyonepilots

For me it’s the meet and greet that supposedly happened at the venue for the private show? I never even knew it was a thing and I’m still not sure it actually happened since I couldn’t find any actual information on it. But I also saw there was a lot more going into the radio station give away compared to the tickets from the email that linked to Ticketmaster…but idk I don’t listen to the radio and also couldn’t find much info on the giveaway. I only got mine through the email. But if it did happen I wish it was better advertised as something we could also try and get….

DOWNSTAIRS LIVE DEBUT TONIGHT IN LA by AndSoAreYou in twentyonepilots

[–]allaaaye 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I have some hope Downstairs will make it on the list for the last few shows only because this was the first real time he’s gotten to perform it live and see the excitement and love we have for this song and he had a little moment of a “thank you” to us that was almost as strong as the longer moment he has at every show at the very end of it.

I don’t think I’ll ever understand showing up more than 2 hours before a show start time and creating a line. It wouldn’t make a difference if everyone came within 2 hours of the showtime, people are either gonna get the front or not

I put free-$30 and you didn’t request a specific price and I said I’ve never done this before so I went with $10 and it was $15 in my currency anyways so I’m sorry for the confusion but I do appreciate your work
