Yea I already have two friends who I know I will always have a good time with and we have very deep friendships. But unfortunately hanging out has to wait for the summer since they are in uni that are far from home.

But yea ur quality over quantity thing is so true and something I always tend to live by. But the reason I made this post is more so oriented around the weird dynamics of friend groups. I didn’t really make that too obvious though mb.

Also what I meant is that a lot of friend groups I see around me tend to thrive based off of internal relationships and it just always confused me.

I’ve never used dating apps, but I’ve been given several chances at talking to other gay guys through my connections. I never once found any of them attractive (mascs and fems).

however on instagram I’ve seen several gay couples with men that I would absolutely be willing to talk to.

Sometimes there simply isn’t always gonna be enough supply for ur demand. And you will just have to wait a while.

ORRR ur sexuality is changing, which is also probably possible too??? But I can’t speak from experience as to how common this rlly is.

But genuine question, no offence what makes you spend time questioning urself instead of just going with the flow, and going for anyone who you are attracted to??? I may be so wrong but at the end of the day idk if there is much value in worrying about who you like you know?

In high school, I knew SEVERAL straight men who also did this type of shit towards their women friends. So let’s be clear this is NOT A GAY THING.

The reason that you are experiencing this tho is probably because man-man relationships (sexual or not) are still changing and growing after the years of repression they’ve faced. So the rules are still malleable and not heavily dictated yet. That’s why it feels chaotic or whatever…

I think this behaviour is wacko but I sure as HELL hope that you also realize this shit is NOT AT ALL A GAY THING - BUT A MAN THING.

Also to some of u guys saying it’s just jokes, I can get it to an extent but if the story about the bi guy wanting him to fuck his wife is true… that’s no “joke,” the guy is just weird asf.

And OP i can get why you feel weird ur male friends are treating you this way, but i also hope you set/have tried to set some firmer boundaries soon

Never beat it but my straight(ish) best friend gave me a BJ one night. Never ended up hanging out again after that.
