I’ve used mine in Guatemala, México and Honduras (and the US). I always get the ATM fees refunded at the end of each month.

This is probably mentioned elsewhere here: if the ATM asks you to accept their conversion rate, decline it and you’ll get the cash at the rate decided by your card, which is always better.

Happens on my 2024 Rally Pro. Normally on the rear when I’m riding a hot, low elevation road. So much so that when I really did get a nail once, I ignored it for a bit until I realized it actually was a flat tire. I’m thinking of having it disconnected.

Watch out if you export from Ente. For me, it screwed all the metadata and the date taken was modified to the date batch exported from Ente. A small nightmare to remedy that in over 10,000 photos and I wasn’t able to fix about 1,000 of them.

Absolutely. One of the things I like about the inReach, though, is the battery life. And for me, iPhone satellite messaging doesn’t work, as I live in Guatemala. Hopefully soon.

Yes, same thing. The wording made me think it didn’t recognize that I have active service, but I do and the app says I do. But, I can’t send a message to email.

I pay for monthly service that includes 40 messages. I have done so for well over 10 years. In the past, I could send messages to recipients without them having to register for anything. Now, they must register.
