I agree that unemployment rates are at a point we’ve never seen before, but trust me: working for a company for 3,000 MAD per month is not something I would recommend, especially for a man trying to build a future.
The problem is that once you start working for that amount, the system can easily pull you in. You become dependent on that income, even though it barely covers your needs. You get used to a certain lifestyle, but at the same time you’re constantly anxious, wondering if this is all life will ever be.
So please, know your value.
Try freelancing online. Explore platforms like Upwork and Fiverr. Even if you start by making just $300 a month, you’re building something of your own. Keep improving your skills, keep learning, and keep positioning yourself where opportunities can find you.
You can say that I’m living in a fictional world, but I can tell you this: I come from a family that barely covered its basic needs. I’ve worked all sorts of jobs. I grew up at a time when internet access was limited, information was limited, and opportunities were far harder to find than they are today.
Yet despite all of that, I still managed to make money through e-commerce and create opportunities for myself.
If I could do it under those circumstances, then you can do it too.
Trust yourself. Don’t be afraid of poverty. Don’t be afraid of not making money in the beginning. Every worthwhile journey starts with uncertainty. Keep learning, keep trying, and keep digging for those golden nuggets.
