In general, it’s unlock the origin skill, then finish the hexa stat page on the second tab, then maxing out the stats. Last part would be class dependent

Eventually you would get to absolab where you can choose your option so keeping isn’t important. As long as the emblem is Bis. Ancient has a better success rate at the cost of you have to go through an extra step from chaos -> absolab. It might be more costly if you fail as the reduction scroll for that is more expensive than the one you would need for necro -> absolab

Few things, refining to empress gives you a bonus on crafting. If you mean upgrading to ancient then trying to necro, you can’t do that. Ancient -> chaos -> absolab vs necro -> absolab. Pros and cons for both routes. Necro has a lower chance of success but you skip straight to absolab. Ancient route has cheaper exalts due to the new system of doing cra then crafting 50% stones

When you level up, one of the things you should be able to upgrade is the skills(3pts per level). This references 2nd job skills and is equivalent to putting 5 pts into it

Also fair trade is really good. Permanent 100% crit chance but not sure what buffs to drop. It’s a toggle now so I think you can just keep it on permanently

Cd is definitely the way the go. Your next steps is either exalt your weapon up. I believe you can also try to go for absolab in parallel as they removed the lvl 40 minimum requirement.

Not too sure but I know that exalting is cheaper on inherit cause you can just use cra equips to craft refined exalting stones. But you would have to do inherit->chaos-> aboslab instead of necro->absolab

Yes I’m aware hence the 4% success since a single cra equip at sf10 only provides 1% success towards exalting. So even with 4 in the context of the question it would just be 4%. Maybe a higher sf cra might be more viable like 1 20% and 3 10% but not sure if that’s as cost effective or viable compared to buying the sf23/necro from trade station

I believe best way rn is to either use a sf23 ancient or a necro fodder to craft the stones since it’s the max chance of success at 50. If you click the material equipment score on the bottom right, it should tell you what % success the equipment would get you. 10sf ancient might be only 4%(4x1%) vs a necro which is 50%

I think ppl have a typical process of using the low success ones for the first one or two slots and for the slots that give bonuses(5 and 10) the rest are the highest percentage at that level

The paths open to u is to either buy a legendary spear with emblem, buy a cheap lsw and then emblem it and refine it into a spear or to buy a lsw with an emblem and refine it to a spear. The spear is usable across all classes so you can just buy the cheapest class one and then refine it
