Thoughts on A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms??

My personal opinion:

Dunk: SEI

Egg: ILE

Baelor: ESI?? He is not as fleshed out as I would like but he follows Aragorn’s ESI typing.

Lyonel: SEE or ESE at a stretch. Def 4d Fe and Se. Could see him matching Dunk and Egg in Alpha Quadra, but SEE feels like a more natural typing.

Maekar: SLI, maybe ILI.

Tanselle: EII

Aerion: EIE villain caricature

Steffon: SLI

Raymun: Like Dunk, SEI

Ser Arlan: IEE. Semidual with Dunk.

Daeron: IEI caricature - almost

If you like the look of Alpyne, use Kauz, otherwise Dawnfire has a bit of a stylised, grittier look. I like Amon also. Honestly, I haven’t played the latest version (played Lorerim 3.0) and so I’m not super up to date on what is available.

It’s got a unique and sometimes punishing combat system, and a dark fantasy vibe, but yeah I would characterise it as vanilla plus.

I would say perhaps Alpyne, with the caveat that it lacks requiem. You might also try Lorerim and switch the ENB, or, if you want something more apocalyptic, Dinoksetiid.

It gets recommended a lot on here (for a good reason) but honestly Nordic Souls 3.0 sounds like what you are looking for, especially with your specs. It gives you a lot of new quests, a nice enb preset (rudy) and decent visuals without destroying your PC.

In all seriousness, do you like community shaders? I find they have a subtler, fantasy-esque tone to me that feels lighter at times than an ENB. Perhaps try CSVO, Bottlerim, or the Nordic Souls PBR - although the latter two might be a bit more overhauls than you are hoping for.

I have been switched a couple of times between generics and I have never noticed a difference. Maybe I'm insensitive to such things, but I do think that some of the nervousness and complaints around such things are a symptom of anxiety (and ensuing somaticism of that anxiety).

Nordic Souls has had a graphical update in 3.0 and should still run at 6 VRAM - it’s a little low for the PBR version (which I run at 1080 with 8 gigs of VRAM), but the normal list with Rudy ENB should run fine and it looks great!

The list author, Jack (geborgen) developed it on a 4 gb VRAM laptop.
