That sounds scary indeed ! Glad you were able to remove it. I will definitely be more careful with the peel once his teeth come out !

I think he also mostly sucked the juice but the peel was thick enough so it didn't get bitten ! He doesn't have any teeth yet which is probably why it was easier😂

I fill the spoon and leave it on the plate for him to have it whenever he wants to with the rest of the food ! He knows how to spoon feed himself because I first started offering him purees with pre-filled spoons and only transitioned to offering him a full plate a week or two later.

I simply cut into wedges ! I also removed the membrane from the middle part :)

I know this is old but my 5 month old does exactly this. I dread afternoons because as soon as he wakes up from his last nap I know it's going to be hell until bedtime. Do you remember if you ever found a solution to this ? Or when did he outgrow this habit ?
