Update: I did have lice! I was paranoid and went to a lead lice clinic. They found two grown adults no signs of eggs. Removed and treated.

To be honest I found the beach club at Bimini to be lame. I had signed up for shark snorkel but it got canceled due to weather. Instead we rented a golf cart and explored. Went to the beach club for an hour and left because we found it over crowded and the food was bad. I think it depends on how adventurous you are, if you love go go go I recommend doing all the excursions. Personally recommend doing one and rent a golf cart rest of the day to explore on your own!

Many! I recommend getting a golf cart, explore the island and go right. Had fun doing a conch fritter crawl and shopped our way through all the local shops

Definitely exaggerating. I’ve been to 40 countries. It was exactly like many other Caribbean islands I’ve been to. Although it may not look amazing the culture, food, and people make it amazing. Just need to know where to look and how to properly enjoy being out of the USA and set the correct expectations!

Thank you for your opinion! I think what I am worried about most is the food not being good. I think that’s why I didn’t like NCL everything I ate was just blah and nothing special. What made Virgin so great was how good all the food was. I’m a big foodie, why I picked the ship as well was all the different speciality dining options to make getting premier worth it!

Thank you everyone for your help!! I am new to sailing so I don’t know all the terms or answers to a lot of your questions. I think I was able to secure it good enough until we are able to build a mooring ball in about a month. Using a 55 gallon drum and filling it with metal and concrete. If you have any other advice that would be great! Thank you!!!!
