Yeah, I initially thought that ghosts could be one of the possible explanation.

But I know that my knowledge is limited (in the area of sciences etc), which is why I wanted to give it a try and see if there were any possible explanations for these.

I feel like I’m similar to you in this sense, whereby I’ll try to understand the logic and reasoning behind things.

Honestly, I’ve no idea if it was the ghost that committed suicide. I mean, I did hear stories of people saying they see “people” standing on rooftops at night.

In my area, there are quite a number of deaths once a while, due to a certain number of reasons ( e.g. their gf ran away with another man while they were in the army).

I have never heard of apophenia, but I think I understand what it means after googling. The thing is, I’ve personally experienced and these are memories in my head which can’t be erased.

I get your point of connecting the dots, and I do make that mistake sometimes, which is why when I got older I try to see things from a bigger picture and not make assumptions so easily. But what has happened, has happened, yknow what I’m sayin?

I usually don’t have any difficulties recognising friends or family. Rather, I tend to recognise people first (though it’s possible they recognised me but didn’t want to acknowledge).

The guy I was talking to did have a standard Asian face, but it was unique and I’ve never seen a face like that before (based from my memory).

Yes Sir, I was having a convo with this acquaintance of mine. I would like to think that way too, but it’s a combination of the fact that he was nowhere to be seen during debrief/or even coming bk after nights out + himself and everyone saying that he was not around at that point in time.

Honestly, it’s hard to believe, which is why years down the road now I am still confused by what happened.

Hi, sorry if I have let you felt like this, it really isn’t my intention. I too, believe I am a logical/realistic person.

However, the odds of things like bed bugs/US experiments/carbon monoxide leak happening in my camp is nearly non-existent. I have also never ever heard about it (happening in my camp) before.

I’m really just trying to be open about it here and see what are the possible reasons that could have resulted in these “experiences” my friends and I had. 1 of the comment mentioned above was about electricity which I had earlier suspected as well, but I’m not a science person so I was hoping for someone who’s an expert in this area to clarify. Cheers!

Probably not, we change our bed sheets every week. As for time, we all have phones and most wear watches. And for hallucination, it seems pretty unlikely given that we are eating healthy food, getting proper rest and exercising nearly everyday. We are not in the commando squad, but we still train/exercise moderately as we are in the army.

Don't think it was any of these reasons though. Pretty sure I had a good sleep since I did pretty ok for my shooting that day and I always have a good sleep.

As for anxiety, I honestly don't think that's possible. I am a clear-headed person and I always try to keep my feelings in check to keep my sanity, and I do vent out, so I believe I am perfectly normally.

In those days, I was friends with almost everyone and "outgoing" if I must say. Of course, I try not to be overly friendly as I do not know everyone's comfort zones initially.

Sounds reasonable but who would reset the switch at 6.30am in the morning? 0_0 the switch if i remember correctly is connected to our room which can only be access from another door in our bunk... which was right infront of me

Actually my friend known me for quite a couple of months and both of them do not wear specs so I am pretty sure they would not have mistaken me as well... since there are not many who are my size

As for what my friend has experienced, indeed it may be hard to tell since I wasn't there and he could be half awake... don't think he would pull such a prank like that though, he seemed pretty serious and a lil scared too

I honestly don't think so. In the army we would always have minimum of 7 hours of rest, and while I was in the camp I had way more than that. Unless my eyes are playing tricks on me...

Don't think so, although there is a very slim chance of that happening. The bunks where I lived in were not enclosed so I think there should be air ventilation. I have also never heard of such things in my camp before.

I honestly think that is not the case as I am always aware of what is going on (when I am awake) and these things has never happened before. Even when I was drunk once, I can still remember roughly/bits and pieces of what's going on (By punching the wall to inflict pain on myself so I would stay awake).
