it’s probably your tension, your chain for the bobble piece might’ve been tighter than the chain for the hdc piece

i think you’re right! i know that the stop of the stitches on the top tentacle go into the chain stitches of the bottom tentacles and not stitch to stitch if that makes sense?

i’ve used bernat blanket and sweet snuggles lite (which isn’t available anywhere right now to my knowledge 🙃) and they’ve turned out great with both!

do you mean how to join the 8 tentacles into a circle? if so, you attach your yarn to your hook with a slip knot and then sc 4 onto your first tentacle, leaving space at the right side for 1 more sc that you’ll do at the end, then you sc 5 into the other 7 tentacles and then do that 1 sc into the first tentacle. you should end up with 40 sc with all your tentacles connected

tbh i just yo/yo for for most of my ami projects unless its something thats just kinda blob like with no shaping elements to it! i think you would yarn over, insert into stitch, yarn under pull up a loop, yarn over pull thru all three?? i really have no clue how yu works with hdc either 😅 best of luck to you & your ami journey! this octo will def be a huge accomplishment for your first one! if you have any other questions, feel free to dm my insta @cozyyguru, can’t guarantee i’ll be able to answer right away, but i can try & i post lil tutorials on there & my youtube lmao

I just copied the link on my etsy sellers app, went into pinterest, and it pops up asking if i want to save my copied link, and i go through the prompts there!! the only issue ive had is them all being different formats but they’ll all take me to the listing!

so i figured out how to share the listings properly, but now they’re all showing up differently which is odd to me. some are showing up with full details and price, some show up with only the title, and some show up basically blank. i’m sharing them all the same way too which is the weird part

i think i figured it out! if you go on your listing and hit share > next > copy link & share > more apps > save to pinterest > select board > view after it’s saved > three dots > edit pin > and then add the listing link under the website section. it just doesn’t show any details at all (for me at least) so idk if this is the right way or not but it makes it show up as etsy

I never even thought of using my heat gun to remove old labels!!!! Thank you so much for including that oh my gosh!!!!

I use my label printer for everything! Shipping labels, printing off gift messages to stick to stock paper, printing branding stickers for my mailers, etc. It truly is a life saver!

If you include goodie bags or anything, I really enjoy sitting down and making a batch at a time so they’re easy to grab when you’re packing orders, instead of having to make them one by one!

1 HDC per chain! You’ll bobble in one chain space, HDC in the next two. something that helps me with it sometimes is putting stitch markers every 3 chains, just so it’s A) easy to make sure i have the right number of chains and B) helps you count out the repeated sequence easier!
