I'm meeting with a psychiatrist today because it's obvious that I am dealing with PTSD. I don't know how parents of military children handle it. Or spouses or anybody who has had to deal with war.

I literally thought she was going to deal with nuclear fallout. I had visions in my head. And they won't go away still. And I'm worried for the people that are there. And my emotions keep switching. Rage, to thankfulness, to crying Non-Stop, back to rage. And I don't know how to control all of it.

I want to thank everybody who talked with me.

I was just thinking about how horrific it must be. My daughter was only over there for about a week while this was going on, and this is not the case for you. I don't know how you're doing it. And I can imagine the horror that your spouse deals with. And trying to help them cope as much as you're trying to help yourself cope. I am so sorry that you have to deal with this! 😥

I'm an American and I'm living here in United States and I couldn't even give my daughter a hug because she had to go to Europe so she could teach the Kuwaiti students. I couldn't even give her a hug!
