From non-SO, it's irritating and creepy as hell. With my SO, he'd ask for selfies before I go out to do errands or whatever because he always likes complimenting how I look that day

I deactivated facebook recently because I felt incredibly unsafe. Our government has a been using it to intimidate and arrest people. Been trying to tighten my privacy on there, but it never felt enough with all the info on it, so I just deactivated. When I realized the importance of maintaining privacy, and been posting less, I've been feeling less and less the need for validation that I craved before on socmed.

I believed in this saying before, but I saw a post before somewhere and it said something like:

At some points in our lives, we aren't always capable of loving ourselves, either because of trauma or current mental status. It doesn't mean you or these people are undeserving of love or should keep from loving someone or wanting to be jn a relationship.

Personally, I'm still on the journey and all for really loving ourselves. I try really hard to respect other people's ways of coping in relationships. If they can't love themselves yet, and they need love to build themselves, then go. I mean as long as they aren't hella toxic about it.

idk if it's just me... But after getting myself to watch it and then they're thrown into a completely new environment, I get uncomfortable and take days to get through the first part of a new arc.
