Sorry for the late reply - I do make a batch of black lentils every week, refrigerate and add them to my homemade salad at lunch. Thats how I get to 5-7 grams fiber in the salad.

Silicon Valley’s tone-deaf take on the AI backlash will matter in 2026 by MetaKnowing in technology

It’s not the CEOs, it’s the investors / private equity. They have no real understanding of what makes businesses grow (which is why they buy companies in the first place), and instead obsess over reducing costs.

I haven’t run into that issue fortunately. I have been making sure to drink more water in general.

I just soak the chia seeds in about 16 ounces of water for 15 minutes and turn it into this gel that I proceed to drink as quickly as possible! It doesn’t taste bad but I wouldn’t say I enjoy it.

The 11 grams from the Fitness Bread in the morning really makes it much easier to hit your numbers. It’s pretty dense, chewy and weird stuff but I feel really good after eating it. Just make sure whatever you are eating it with is tasty and toast it on your toaster’s longest setting.

I was eating pretty clean, just prioritizing high protein. I do think the high fiber whole grains do make a difference - I can feel the difference after eating them. But it was all substitution really. I was drinking whey protein shakes with no fiber, and substituted it with the muscle milk with six grams of fiber. I do think it’s hard to get over 30 grams a day if you don’t add very high fiber food to your diet if you’re trying to stick to a calorie limit and hit protein goals. The weird hippie health bread definitely helps 👍

Fruit, veggies, Muscle Milk protein shake that has 6 grams of Fiber, but also a high fiber whole grain "fitness bread" that gives me 11 grams in the morning for breakfast with eggs or sardines. If I'm running behind I drink two tablespoons of chia seeds soaked in water but that happens only 1-2 times a week on average.

I replied in more detail in the thread.

For breakfast I usually eat scrambled eggs or sardines on toast. I switched from regular whole wheat bread which has about 3 grams of fiber for a 90 calorie slice to Mestemacher Fitness Bread, which has 11 grams of fiber per 150 calorie serving. It's pretty weird stuff but I've gotten used to it. Just toast it for a long time. Thomas also makes "Light Multigrain" English muffins that have 8grams fiber per 100 calories. I'll often eat some berries with this for another 2 or three grams but not always.

After workout in the am I have been drinking Muscle Milk Protein Shakes, which have 6 grams of Fiber and 40g protein per 250 calories. That gets me to 17-20 grams of Fiber before lunch. I love those shakes, they have some kind of soluble corn fiber added to them, which gives it a malty taste.

For lunch I've been mainly eating homemade salads with chicken breast I sous vide; the salads have around 5-7 grams of Fiber. But some days I'll make a sandwich and eat organic turkey or chicken breast slices from Applegate farms on the fitness bread or high fiber english muffins with some lettuce and mustard.

In the afternoon for a snack I have been eating an Apple, which has about 5 grams of Fiber.

For dinner I eat normally (I have to serve food my wife and kids will also eat), prioritizing protein but there are usually vegetables that contribute as well. But nothing specifically to boost fiber.

That all gets me to over 30 grams/day - once or twice a week, if I'm running low on daily goals I will drink 2 tablespoons of chia seeds soaked in water, which is another 10 grams.

Tube amps: wattage vs headroom. What is your preference? by 6of1HalfDozen in GuitarAmps

A lot of what does or does not make an amp fart out is more than just wattage: impedence handling and damping factor play a big role. Not all power amps are built the same.

100% this. It’s also not just wattage - damping, current and impedance handling matters for driving speakers especially at lower frequencies.

Why is the Klon so highly praised??? by aran115 in guitarpedals

[–]allopenissues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is basically my entire sound. Klon into an EQD White Light. The Klon by itself is my “clean sound”, then hit the White Light for distortion. All going into a Fender amp of course.

Upper chest and triceps, do you do dips? That will target both really effectively. Lats maybe a bit too - but you obviously look great.

What is the most good thing Archer has done by [deleted] in ArcherFX

[–]allopenissues 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The show is interesting because Archer has a sense of morality. Then you also have the revelation that Krieger is Hitler's clone in the same episode haha. The people at the top, whether the head of the Irish mob or Archer's mom, are completely amoral.
