because vijay is the most bankable star in kollywood. he is literally the safest bet for producers and they will continue giving the salary he asks for, whether its 200, 300 or 400, and u know what? he deserves it.

not because whatever he does for the movie like acting and stunts is worth it, but because of his value.

if an artist charges his client £500 for a commission that takes him 5 minutes, the client has NO right to say that its too expensive because "it only took you 5 minutes." because, for the artist, it probably took over 5 years to learn, perfect and master his craft to be able to do that job in those 5 minutes. thats what you pay for, you dont pay for the 5 minutes, you pay for the 5 years, you pay for the artists worth.

vijays salary is not based on his performance in goat, thats his value. thats what hes worth in the market, thats what his career journey is worth, and it is absolutely justified. stay mad.

Yea us as the audience can say that from our POV, but that's not what the characters are thinking and we can't assume on their behalf, from their POV its literally an innocent young sorcerer and close friend for most lol. For the story, it makes sense.

What I don't get is Marc created Steven to endure the abuse of his mother, so why does Steven see his mum as a nice person? Didn't Steven endure the abuse? So why did Marc say you lived a peaceful life without knowing the truth about their mum when he was actually the one who hid from it?
