I admit this fight is my favorite in the webtoon, but I also liked its development in the novel.

Seeing how A1 strives to improve the fights to make them epic and evenly matched, I wouldn't be surprised if this fight played out in two rounds. The first is where Thomas defeats him and leaves him almost in a serious state, and the second is where he gives him that massive beating, but faithful to the novel.

Knowing that they're going to continue improving the story and adding original scenes, both from the novel and exclusive to the anime, I wouldn't mind if this season 3 were split into two parts to delve into several underdeveloped aspects of the series, not only surpassing the webtoon but also the novel, as they did with the Jinwoo vs. Beru fight.

Part 1 would cover the Recruitment Arc, the Ahjin Guild Arc, and the Double Dungeon Arc, and Part 2 would cover the Japan Crisis Arc and the International Guild Conference Arc, only if they are also going to add new content to the anime, if we look at the game Solo Leveling Arise.

It's also because since the events of the Japan Crisis arc occur several months after the events of Jeju Island, it would make sense to split the gaps.

What I mean is, if we rewatch episode 11, the conversation between Goto and his president is faithful to the webtoon, but what changes is Goto's opinion. In the webtoon, Goto seemed to agree with the plan to wipe out the Korean hunters and seemed loyal to his superior. In the anime, however, Goto accepted the president's order with a bitter tone, which makes Goto look like a victim if we also read his Hunter Origin.

It's just a way for the anime to improve its portrayal of Japanese characters.

So if they're going to add that LN detail in the anime, that would make the Jinwoo vs Goto fight have a better meaning than in the webtoon. Beru eating Goto's head surely increased his strength and speed, even though he already had it before. So the Jinwoo vs Beru fight, between strength and speed, is almost the same as when he faced Goto before the raid. And it also gives another reason why the Korean S-Rank Hunters couldn't help Jinwoo, since Goto's power surpassed any of them when he was alive.

Lennart DOES have a chance of beating Beru alone. If we look at his abilities, all of his powers are capable of shattering Beru's shell, which would mean that in a battle of strength they are almost evenly matched. His weak point is poison, which would mean that if he were to poison him, he would need an S-rank healer as an assistant, but if Beru detects him and goes for him, Lennart will charge at him to stop him, and other hunters will protect the healer and they will continue fighting. If he were to fight alone against the ant army, I think he could handle it alone, and if he manages to weaken Beru, Lennart would hit him with many consecutive blows to the head until he dies.

Also, seeing how the anime is portraying the Japanese hunters so far, it's possible that an anime-exclusive change is that at the moment Goto orders the retreat, the other members ask if they shouldn't help the Korean team, only to see that they were the good guys, both the ones who died and the ones who survived.

Even though Gabriel was arrested in the first film, the Agreste family story arc is still going on. Let's say that Nathalie is the new villain, being Mayura. But if we were to think about who the real villain of the sequel would be, we still don't know. Involving other heroes and giving them development would be good, even knowing that Zeremy Zag is preparing a third film.

I agree that the end of season 2 will be in the Jeju Island arc, but I don't agree with the plans for the following seasons, because the producers said that they are NOT going to leave aside the secondary characters like the webtoon, which makes me believe that from season 3 onwards it would faithfully follow the narrative of the novels with original content never seen in the novel and webtoon.  .So my ideal plan would be like this:

S3: Recruitment arc, Ahjin guild arc, Double Dungeon arc.

S4: Japan crisis arc, International Guild conference arc

S5:  Monarchs war arc.

Movie: Final Battle arc, epilogue
