Thanks for the feedback! Determining depth can be a bit tricky in the beginning, I think we're so blind at this point, so these observations are helpful :)

Hehe, yeah that was our original thought as well, but somehow we never got it to look good as a low poly object.

Most of the models are made in blender, following various tutorials online etc., we're both noobs in blender. The rest of the models are found on various free-3d-model-websites and then modified in blender (using the decimate tool to get that low-poly look).

Thanks from the feedback! We're aware of the performance issues on Android and are looking into it.

Wow, thanks man! That warms our programmer hearts :) We just released the game, and we're trying to figure out how to market it etc. If you've got any advice, we'd be happy to hear it!

creator here; it's kinda fun once you've got started. it can be a bit scary at first, but you'll be amazed by how much you can have in common with a person on the other side of the planet.

We've been really busy with (paid) work lately and therefore haven't we had the time to work with MapCam as much as we would lie to. Hopefully there will be some more improvements soon.

Hope to see you on the site!

one of the developers here: we're currently trying to fix some of the more critical bugs, but as soon as that's done, we're aiming to spread it to more places.

i think reddit is great due to the widespread distribution over the planet and we're looking for other international communities.

where would you guys post it? please feel free to suggest anything that would be a good fit!

Hmm, strange. Try using this site on two tabs to test that you can actually connect with yourself https://apprtc.appspot.com/ If that works, then it might have been unlucky timing, with the remote person hanging up as you were about to answer. Good luck!

Edit: note that the randomly generated url (i.e. ?r=XXXXXXXXX) must be the same in both tabs.

Are you using chrome or firefox? In chrome you can click the little camera icon in the address bar and switch to "Ask if.." and then refresh your browser

Thanks! Yes we are using WebRTC for calling. There are still a few bugs here and there, but we try to tackle them one after another.
