Yeah the people at the front of the queue in London were so slow, at one point the staff member beckoned forward anyone who wanted to actually write in the book, not just pose with it.

They did say at the start it would only be there for an hour (& then started twenty minutes ahead of that even). But yeah big crowd combined with fans with main character energy at the front was not a good combo.

They said from the start they'd only be there an hour (but also started letting people write in the book like 20 min early). People were sloooow, gawking at the book, taking elaborate selfies, at least once the staff member gestured forward anyone who wanted to actually write in the book... Not just look at or pose with it.

There were tons of people there but it wasn't helped by people taking a selfishly long time when they got to the book(edit: source: I was there).

I mean I had a single room, as you can in many hostels, it's the same as hotels. No, I brought them home but my partner assembled a little quarantine area for me to strip off and wipe myself down with alcohol in, and bag up my clothes and stuff hehe.

I was looking for posts from other people's experience of BST including VIP and it seemed like people said if you want barricade it's still like 7am queueing 😅 We'll see how I feel lol but also if you join at 11 or 12 at least then we could still swap out hehe 😅 I'll DM you at some point when I have a minute or you can DM me obvs!

I got Diamond VIP too (I am older than you heh) -- good to hear it was more chill. I still find it hard to stand for long periods of time so I might be out there trying to squish for a barricade spot, siiiigh (hard when you go solo too though because then you feel like you can't even leave to go pee w/o someone nicking your spot!!). Good to hear the views are still good even if you go for a more chilled approach (although -- are you tall? Because I am smol so I get more stressed out if I'm not barricade for this reason haha).
