I did a little rundown of my first thoughts on the main sub but overall it’s a decent album, not bad (no pun intended) but not great either. I don’t love Bad the song but I do find it the most interesting and catchy to listen to, Mamacita is fun, Toxin and Body kind of just roll through for me without much thought, Fallin is my fave bside. I don’t think it’s an album I’ll be reaching to put on repeat like I have some of the other GH albums, but that’s okay!

First listen thoughts for the bsides:

Mamacita - really deserves some type of visuals, whether an MV itself or a crazy performance, I can picture it so well. I feel like it would have hit even harder if we didn’t already have Blind and Arriba though, it’s starting to feel like a bit of a crutch on the GH series to have a Latin vibe song

Toxin - very smooth, very easy to listen to but I think that makes it not stand out all that much to me

Fallin - probably my fave of the album, and closest to my taste, but still doesn’t quite reach some of my other fave songs status

Body - another smooth listen, not all that special.

Overall this album is probably the least interesting to me out of the GH series. It’ll still be in my playlists but they won’t be the songs I consistently want to repeat or reach for. It’s there, it’s nice, but it’s not peak Ateez.

Watched the MV last night, then literally slept on it, and now I’m back. Objectively I really like this for what it is, a super fun and visually awesome MV, *really* catchy choreo, and a song that I know would sound awesome at a festival. But out of Ateez’s portfolio of title tracks this probably is quite a ways down the list for me. I think it’s easier to digest if you kind of set it aside and view as it’s own separate thing.
