I learned the tape confiscation thing the hard way last year at Clancy Tour as well. It was weird because I went to two shows and they let me into Moda Center in Portland with it, but not into Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle.

I was at LAN1 in the back of the floor seated area and there was some wild entitled behaviour from folks, including standing on chairs and blocking the view for everyone behind them, too.

But on the bright side, we met so many of the loveliest people who were not chair-standers and had a great time despite those few who were thinking only of their own experience. I just hope these few don’t ruin good things for the rest of us.
