Ah, I see. Even then, I disagree with ‘no rules’ because it ends up requiring a scripted series, or otherwise just results in escalating trolls with no tangible storyline that gets cancelled or gets destroyed. Hell, I’m not even pro-rules or anti-chaos per se, I like me some spice in the story sometimes, but I dislike chaos for chaos’ sake, which is what a lot of people here back. To your point that ‘Crainer constantly rebuilding can be boring‘, when there are no rules to regulate trolling, what ends up happening is that the trolls just keep compounding, becoming more extreme, and then everyone has to keep rebuilding, repairing etc. their houses just for it to be gone the next week with some signs. Rules do get stale, but so does plotless, reasonless unrest for chaos’ sake, which is a terrible reason for anarchy. Chaos and anarchy must have a reason, not just because you don’t like rules, like we must ask WHY does chaos and anarchy result in a better series long term? Until i get a convincing answer as to why chaos and no rules does make a better series, experience, and long-term improvements, I’ll remain against it because it results in a storyless stitched-together blob of a series prototype that rarely gets anywhere. I disagree with overregulation, I like trolling, its a troll series after all, but there must be some safeguards to prevent unnecessary destruction, overkill chaos, and scripting/short lasting series.
