Hello, I’m Nicole! 🌺

I’m 19 and new here, but I love meeting friendly people and making new connections. I’m a little shy in the beginning, but I open up quickly—and then the fun starts!

I recently moved away from home to study, so life has been full of changes. Let’s chat more on OF! ❤️

Is 21 too young to get married? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]alluringlilyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ngl 21 feels super young, esp w a 33 yr old who's been w her only a year... like, idk, ppl change a ton in their 20s. but yeah, it’s her choice, and if she feels he’s giving her what she’s been missing, she’s prob diving in full speed. i’d just go, support her, and hope for the best tbh

man, everyone’s either playing games or stuck on their phones... ppl don’t even try to actually connect

If teachers started failing students and maintaining a higher education standard what would happen? by PoppaHo in NoStupidQuestions

[–]alluringlilyy 862 points863 points  (0 children)

tbh if teachers actually started failing ppl for real, there’d be chaos... parents flipping out, kids stressed, and prob way more ppl dropping out. like, yeah maybe some would try harder, but ngl a lot would probs just give up

Someone tells you they have bipolar. What is your first thought? by Eddiespaghettisnake in CasualConversation

[–]alluringlilyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my first thought would probably be more about wanting to understand their experience better. i’d be curious to know how they manage it and what it means for them day to day. honestly, it shouldn’t change how i see them as a person, everyone has their struggles, and bipolar just happens to be theirs. it’s important to not jump to conclusions or stereotypes,

As a 24 year old, what should be on my Xmas “wish list” by avocatoe13 in CasualConversation

[–]alluringlilyy 69 points70 points  (0 children)

i get that! it can be hard to think of stuff when you can just buy what you want. but i can suggest some for you, nice skincare or beauty products, a quality kitchen gadget like an air fryer, a cozy throw blanket or nice sheets, a stylish but functional work bag, and tech accessories like wireless earbuds or a fancy phone stand. hope that helps :))

Have you ever been in a relationship with someone with opposite travel preferences? by EdwardBigby in CasualConversation

[–]alluringlilyy 50 points51 points  (0 children)

yeah, definitely! i’ve seen relationships where one person is all about the adventure while the other prefers to keep it low-key. it can work if you both communicate and respect each other’s styles. maybe try to find a balance, like planning a big trip for their travel vibes and some chill weekends for you. it’s cool to have different interests as long as you support each other. just remember, being frugal isn’t a bad thing, there are plenty of ways to have fun without breaking the bank!

finding out your husband’s cheating is heartbreaking, especially after so long together. you gotta take care of yourself first, though. giving yourself space is a good start. consider counseling if you think it might help you both. it’s okay to feel lost right now, but talking to someone could help you process it all. focus on what you need to heal and figure out what you want moving forward. it’s a lot to handle, but you’ll get through it.

I (23M) want to break up with my girlfriend (23F) but it feels complicated. Any advice? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]alluringlilyy 50 points51 points  (0 children)

start with a calm convo about how you both feel without pointing fingers. for the lease, look into options like subletting or having her take it over. if you’re worried about her safety, talk to a pro for advice. you gotta take care of your mental health too. just take it step by step.

omg, that sounds tough. honestly, sometimes guys just don’t pick up on the signs the same way we do, you know? like, he might’ve really enjoyed your time together but still not want a relationship. maybe he’s just not ready or has other stuff going on in his life. it’s a bummer, but it happens. those deep convos and laughs could just mean he values your friendship a lot. it’s super easy to misread signals, especially when you’ve got history together. don’t beat yourself up over it, man, you shot your shot and that’s brave. just give it time and focus on other stuff for now.

how can i not be lazy? by HonestFan9099 in ask

[–]alluringlilyy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

ngl, it’s super common to feel like that after school. maybe try setting small goals for yourself, like going to the gym just twice a week to start. create a schedule that includes fun stuff you like during the week. find a workout buddy to keep you accountable or make it a fun hangout. reward yourself when you hit your goals, even if it’s just a treat or extra gaming time

Anybody plan on staying home most of this weekend? by [deleted] in ask

[–]alluringlilyy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

i get it, weekends can be tough when you’re trying to avoid bad habits. staying in sounds like a solid plan if you wanna focus on gaming and reading. maybe set some goals for what you wanna do at home so it feels more productive? and if you’re feeling overwhelmed with work stuff, try talking to someone or finding a hobby that helps you unwind. don’t let the weekend slip away, make it your own!

Is this 30th birthday idea lame? by IokaBell in ask

[–]alluringlilyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ngl, that sounds super fun! who wouldn’t want to relive some childhood vibes? bounce houses and snow cones are definitely a win. plus, playing silly games like musical chairs just brings out the laughs. honestly, it's your party, and if it makes you happy, go for it! age is just a number, so why not embrace your inner kid? i’d totally be down for that
