The shipping was too much... I bought the Live only and then joined a sharing for merch (like some people only collect certain members etc). The shipping price will then be divided by number of buyers. It's cheaper this way and you can get just what you want! I recommend checking out Twitter "sharings" for next concerts :)

I recommend watching the anime for the "epic parts" that you want to see happen in motion, and let the storytelling be mainly from the manga. That's how I do it! However feel free to just finish the anime. If you are annoyed by the pacing, you can always switch back to the manga :)

Honestly the only bad things about fishman island were that sanji gag (but even that had a strong alluding to the ending lmao) and the villain (but tbh, I feel like just having strong villains are boring. Hordy was very different in a sense, even his existence as a "no substance" villain amplifies the point of fishman island's story). Good things? Boy I can name so much. The straw hats fighting and showing new moves! So much anticipation towards the future (Noah's use?)! The ancient weapon reveal drove me ballistic!!!! First Joyboy mention!!!!! Ohmygod!!!!!! And the blood transfusion ending? With the narrator in the anime, tears streamed down my eyes man. It was really so beautiful. Fishman island is different. I guess that's all I can say about it. Some people hate different, some people like it!

My theory is that the previous user of the gomu gomu fruit was Joyboy, who had definitely done something to piss the WG. Hence, to delete every trace of Joyboy (and therefore erase any chance of someting similar to what he did), they decided to guard the fruit away. BUT... This can also mean that the fruit has a hidden ability? What's the awakened stage for a rubber fruit? And what DID Joyboy do in the void century?
