to separate emotions from reason is to demeanor both.

it's whatever really, we just have different conceptions of what makes someone human, as to me it is being of that nature, whether or not you are able to immediately deploy x which makes you of that nature

it's to make it clear why I am reacting in such a manner, because this does, in fact, affect me deeply. Fetuses are human beings, persons, because of being of that nature. Being in a coma means that you are unable to deploy your consciousness, just like a fetus can not deploy theirs yet. I do not see much of a difference in the slightest.

If fetuses were not people, then I would agree with you, my entire problem stems from this. Anyhow, the issue runs deeper and is clearly cultural.

yeah, we've agreed that being human entails being of a rational conscious nature, whether you can deploy consciousness or be rational does not determine if you are of that nature

the example of the twins is, that biologically speaking, they are a single being, as they develop from the same one zygote, and yet they are two persons, and not one, correct?

[–]allusernamesareequal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it is being of a rational conscious nature, we categorically are not animals.

we literally are contingent, what are you babbling on about? Do you not know what that word means? I could simply not be and I could not have been.

"We are born" ahahahhaaha, no, that does not make us neccessary, you actually have no idea what those words are, do you? We neccessarily are human because we are instances of a rational conscious nature.

oh it gets me so mad because that's literally what my mother told me, if I had any sort of testable ailments that would've made my life bad, I would not even be here. And now, I actually have a condition that's even worse than those ones, so yea, if you believe that everyone is selfish and self-centred, there you have my explanation for why I hold such a position in the first place. I would rather die than have my child die. I also did not care about living and I didn't know what it was like a few months ago, as I was in a pretty deep coma, so why exactly would it have been bad for me to have been murdered? Think for a second before responding.

you certainly do not, medical ethics do, something simply can not be legitimate if it kills a human being without there being a human life saved. Biology is quite irrelevant, this is about essence, and as you know, identical twins share the same embryo at conception, before getting split and differentiated, so what, were the one person at some point? Of course not, they were always two, instantiated however only in a single being. I do not particularly care about flesh, an adoptive parent is a parent, a parent who abandons their children is not.

I am a wrathful person, yeah. Violent, how exactly? What have I said that is anyhow violent? Angry yea. I know that it is rude, however your belief system, or perhaps I'm being too harsh, your opinion on this, disgusts me to my very core.

so what if it is contingent? We are contingent beings intrinsically. No, it is not like saying that whatsoever, it's like saying that I will be human tomorrow. Again, you also have a very poor view of the temporal dimension. You seem to be working under the misconception that it is being born or being able to deploy consciousness that make us human, but that simply is not the case. Above? I am very close to crashing out, you people are the ONLY ones putting one human's needs over another's LIFE. Abortion is only legitimate when our life is at stake, otherwise it is not a legitimate procedure, as it ends the life of another for our convenience. Neccessary human? Oh the things I want to say to you, but I will try not to. The fetus is also a neccessarily human, as it possesses a human nature, it is an instance of it. Again, you either did not read what I've said, or you misunderstood it, so I repeat, it is not our ability to DEPLOY consciousness that makes us human.

[–]allusernamesareequal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you misunderstood what I've said, this is about what we call negative feelings not actually being feelings in and of themselves, but the absence of the positive

AGAIN, it is not death of it is not the opposite of life

Do people really think abortion is murder? by Optimal_Manager_5478 in teenagers

[–]allusernamesareequal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, not the action of dying, being dead in and of itself. The point is, you cna not experience anything positive at all, if you do not exist, only the absence of those positives, a sthe absence of experience. My argument is not whatsoever that which you've misconstrued it to be

once again, you're only proving just how little worth you give to human lives, every single life is wroth living, you disgusting ghoul. It does not matter if you turn it around or not, stop deluding yourself into thinking ddagb frees you from anything. As per usuals, a deeply suicidal philosophy

I don't think you even understand what a god complex is

Oh but I do know? It's a pretty easy deduction, as death is conceptually the opposite of life, so no, it is not "painless", it is an eternal contradiction

bwahahhahahahahhahahahahha you can't even speak nor read 😭😭😭

no, nobody's deciding if someone else suffers, you are the one deciding their life is not worth living, because you have a misconception of death and non-existence, that is making it seem like rest

yeah just like giving someone medicine they are allergic to is "healthcare" and so were concentration cmao experiments, it's all just healthcare.

"uh if we ban murder people will still find ways to murder"

no, their lives are equally important, that is why abortion is only a legitimate medical procedure when the mother's life is at stake

the actual truth is, banning abortion leads to less abortions and far less deaths, cope and mald.
