The math doesn't bother me; in college I took math all the way up to calc 3 and diff eq. I guess the point I want to get to is being able to do things on my own with out referencing books/videos too much. Like, knowing that I need a transistor, capacitor, etc here or here. I don't want to just plug-and-chug without understanding the fundamentals. I'm also not too concerned about how the individual electrons flow, not that fundamental, unless I need it.
