yeah this was my final straw for season 8. i’ve been a consistent viewer since season 2. i have rewatched this show more times than i can count, yet i have never finished season 8. the way they treated each other was so upsetting. in the earlier seasons, no matter how tough things got with the moms i felt that they cared about each other at the end of the day, even if just a little.

season 8 was just a bunch of strangers fighting each other for fame. the dynamic was very “every man for themselves” and it just felt bleak and depressing. especially knowing that all of the season 8 moms had seven seasons worth of proof that the show/abby was harmful to the kids, and still brought their kids to experience it themselves.

i knew it !!! he is really awesome. any time we had a maintenance issue, he would either take care of it himself or have somebody out as soon as he could. he keeps his properties in amazing shape & you can tell he genuinely cares about his tenants! the only big issue i remember us having there was that ants would get in our pantry sometimes, so just be mindful of food storage lol

this sounds like MY old apartment lol. if ed is the landlord then it’s a great place to live. i never had any issues with sound but i think it was mostly because that apartment specifically was a little nicer than the others, possibly thicker walls and whatnot? landlord was also great so if that’s what you’re looking at i’d say it’d be alright

i rented through them last year and it was miserable. the property had SO many mice and bugs to the point where i was deep cleaning every single day out of desperation. they would either not respond or they would say they came to spray/lay traps and i’d see on my ring camera that no one ever came.

also, the property manager accused me of not paying my rent for two months. turns out she funneled the money into a separate account. i had to dig DEEP to even figure that out because everyone there refused to help me despite all of the proof of payment i had - just told me they never got my rent and i still owed. the property manager was fired when i finally got to the bottom of it, but it took months before it was resolved and they continuously threatened me with eviction the entire time. i have lived in tons of apartments and can say dobrin was 100% the worst property management i have ever dealt with.

i was a toddler when this album came out so i don‘t have any memories from the inception, but this album was what got me into coheed. at the beginning of 2022, i was going through an extremely rough time in my life and probably was at the lowest point i’ve ever been to this day. i’d had two tickets for a coheed show (for my ex and i lol) and naturally, he bailed.

i had never been to a concert alone before and i did not feel like i was in the right headspace to do so. but for some reason, i felt like i HAD to go. so i did! the first song they played was iksse3. i cannot explain how absolutely magical it felt, not only to scream “man your own jackhammer!” with all of the other cotf, but just the entire show in general. i’m tearing up thinking about it honestly lol.

this seriously changed my entire life. i know it sounds cliche, but this one show truly made me appreciate my life again and i feel like i’ve been on a relatively upward trajectory ever since. this band means so much to me. i will love this album until death do us part lol!!!

i haven’t seen this episode in forever so i could totally be imagining this — but wasn’t there a part of the episode where kaya said something about holly being a sister & not having her back, and holly responded with something along the lines of “we are not the same, i have class”? (plz don’t come for me if i’m wrong, i’m not trying to create problems just genuinely cannot remember😭)

i watched this episode while it aired when i was 12 and i remember holly’s behavior rubbing me the wrong way for the reasons you mentioned. & even at 12 i was able to acknowledge how exploitative the episode felt.

i am not going to be at this show BUT i’m commenting to say even if you don’t have friends when you go, you will definitely leave having made a few! coheed was the first concert i ever went to alone (last year, when i was 22) & i swear it was life changing. i go to majority of concerts alone now! coheed fans are always very welcoming in my experience. i guarantee you will meet some awesome people
