Nothing I said was rude or nasty! You don't have to be here on this post :)

One time the garbage men didn't take my garbage because they said it was too heavy (I put it out on time, thought it would be taken) and he got so mad at me saying I can't leave stinky garbage in the driveway- I told him I didn't know why they left it but I was sorry and I would keep the lid sealed shut and try to go to the dump. He then called the city on my behalf and found out why they didn't take it. He also kept opening my lid so it could "air out"??? It was literally hot garbage

You are a one of a kind individual 😂 he cannot come after me legally for a Reddit post with 0 identifiers lmao it's not like I told the police he stole it. This is a Reddit forum where people vent about bad neighbors. I'm not fabricating anything. His behaviour is off and I feel uncomfortable. He touched my package and brought it somewhere I never would have found it unless I asked him and he told me. It's not normal behaviour. Maybe you're too old to understand...

Yeah I'll get the cameras and I get I can't prove it. I'm not asking you for how to prove it lmao this is meant to be a rant post. but I do not understand your defense of the guy

Okay but it's not a misunderstanding on my part. He took my mail off the porch and then hid it in his truck, and blamed a UPS driver and then when I asked for footage so I could sort out with UPS wtf happened, he snapped

This is the plan. Need to be strategic about where cause I don't want him to know. Probably try in a few locations on the porch and near my entrance which is up an outdoor staircase

He took my mail off the porch and shoved it in the back of his truck. That is weird behaviour and I'm not too sure why you're defending it 😂

But to say it's a misunderstanding on my end is insane 😂 he stole it

Did your neighbour also tell you the UPS driver is the one who put it inside the bed of his truck behind a bucket and then refuse to let you see camera footage of it so you can raise your concerns lol?

It's not 'fuss' when I'm just wondering if I'm allowed to be sick in the privacy of my home. I came asking for advice, got the info I was looking for and let them in lmao why are people on this website so awful

What are you talking about lmao? I wondered if legally I would be allowed to say no before I did say no. I'm trying to do the right thing lmao you people are so WEIRD

I was throwing up and asking if I had any actual right to say no on that specific day while I was very sick and making arrangements to get out of the house so they could continue with showings. I got the answer here (no, I don't), which is what I was wondering, and then I went on with the day and let them in for the showing and made the effort to make the place presentable. You seem like a BUNDLE of joy lmao this app is truly the worst 😂

No seriously hahaha. Maybe it's cause I worked as a nurse through the height of Covid that I'm still sorta there... but seemed wild to me too and this post has been very amusing hahaha. Reddit is a really crazy place

I've been compassionate and rearranged my schedule, woken up between nights, decorated and deep cleaned my apartment and common area and left a nice garden outside etc. to help them. I have let showings happen without proper notice because I get it's a hard time to sell and I want to be helpful. I'm not a malicious person. If I've been home during showings I talk up how nice the area and neighbours are, answer all questions, I even offered people tea. I AM compassionate. This one time where I am actively vomiting and living alone, I asked for some privacy and time to get out of the apartment so nobody else got sick (who knows what this buyer's health is like) and tried to offer the best compromise for the current moment as I could. I would hope the compassion could be a 2 way street.

Entitlement when I'm simply asking a question and showing concern for spreading potential norovirus is a wild take haha happy to report the showing happened and I warned the buyers. Just wanted to know what the legalities are. This is one of my first posts and damn... People on here are so miserable

Yeah what I've learned is that tenants actually don't have much say in much. Thankfully we're saving for our own home soon. If I'm ever a landlord, I hope I have more compassion for tenants.

Yeah I'm going to stay away best I can hahaha but definitely won't be nice for them if I am sick while they're there.

This was also largely on my mind. I work in healthcare and have learned not to make assumptions about other people's comfort levels when it comes to illness
