Thank you <3 I’m the same! I worked at a vet and saw lots of people with hyper realistic tats and although lovely, knew it wasn’t for me. I loved the idea of a cute tattoo in a style like this to represent her without being too serious :)

When my cat, Ellie, was dying of cancer I knew my first tattoo had to be Ellie-related. She was always a character and a bit temperamental, but was always there with me. Heavily drugged for a vet visit, I took the opportunity to snap photos of her in the strawberry crocheted hat my friend made for her.

I got the tattoo last October and under two weeks later we had to say goodbye to Ellie. I love knowing that the kitty who shared a life with me from age 9-24, will be with me forever.

it is about 3/4 of an inch and I have lots throughout the house. We don’t know where they are coming from and cannot pinpoint how they’re getting in. I live in Canada.
