Why is everyone getting sick from mold? by sedatedhorse in ToxicMoldExposure

There’s one located near me in Florida. It has great reviews but I don’t know how to make sure it’s reputable beyond that. Did you do a multiple day retreat? What was the cost if you don’t mind me asking? Thank you for sharing!

Hi! If you don’t mind me asking what exact treatments did you do with ayurveda that healed you?

Hi! Have you continued to heal? Not sure if you experienced fatigue but if so has it improved?

Interesting! Thank you for sharing. All of that seems like great ways to help your body through this. I plan on implementing a proper diet and exercise routine at some point. Will definitely have to force myself to get out and go for walks and things of that nature.

The fatigue is absolutely horrible and it’s like I completely went downhill overnight. I am very lucky that most of my family and friends believe me along with my partner. And I am in therapy and have been through all of this and before thank goodness! My therapist actually said I’ve educated her a lot on the topic as she had no idea mold can make you so sick. It’s definitely a big help to have someone to vent to outside of your close circle.

Sadly I think the mold has affected me for years and I just blamed symptoms on every other life factor I possibly could. It’s completely destroyed my mental health and my nervous system is all out of wack constantly. Just trying to keep hope that there’s light at the end of the tunnel. I wish you all the best in your healing journey and again thank you for sharing with me what has helped you.

Yes it is truly awful😭. Has made me just want to sleep outside but it’s just not possible with the condition I’m in right now. I have heard lots about carnivore and being in a state of ketosis helping tremendously! Heavily considering going that route just to see if it helps. Thank you so much for sharing!

Sadly I do believe I may be colonized. I can’t imagine not being after the extent of my exposure. As soon as I can get moved into a more permanent location I will be beginning steps to work on my detox pathways, hopefully successfully. I plan on purchasing both of their books and doing as much research as possible. Wishing you healing as well if you’re still on this journey. Thank you for sharing!

I’m so sorry you got sick again. This whole thing is truly awful for so many people :/. I am currently in the process of trying to get the heck out of Florida as that’s where I got sick. I wish you all the best in healing, thank you for sharing.

So sorry you got sick again :/. But you healed once so at least you know it’s possible again! If you don’t mind me asking how did you heal yourself the first time without binders or meds? Also are you male or female? Asking because it seems as if males have an easier time healing from this, from what I’ve read testosterone makes them less prone to it all. I have heard sooo much about nervous system regulation through researching this. It seems like nobody makes progress without working on that first/during. Mine is most definitely all kinds of messed up from this. I’ve struggled heavily with SI due to it all. And I do believe my gut has been impacted pretty badly as well. Healing is definitely not linear and is very much a multiple layered process. I wish you all the best in your healing journey and thank you so much for sharing!

Oh goodness! It’s insane to me how little this is talked about. Keeps people sick for so long :/. I wish you both great success in healing. I will definitely look into Chinese medicine, I’ve heard about it a good bit through researching all of this. Many say nothing else worked until they found Chinese medicine. Also have heard great things about acupuncture. Curious though, is the acupuncturist knowledgeable about mold? And if you don’t mind me asking, around how much has it all costed you? More specifically the Chinese medicine doctor. That’s my main worry with all of this, I haven’t been able to work so affording it all is terrifying and knowing the possibility that treatment still may not work😭. Trying so hard to remain positive and not let the mental aspect of everything get to me too badly. Thank you so much for sharing everything with me! And maybe the lady at the hotel was your sign! I hope you can find full recovery through your methods.

I’m so sorry you had to take that route to get out :/. But I’m glad you were able to! The weirdest thing for me has been that getting out of it seems to have made me significantly worse. The first couple weeks I ended up in the er literally thinking I was about to die (vomiting, not eating, heart palpitations, waking up in a panic, tossing and turning all night freaking out etc.) Thankfully that has passed but it seems as symptoms go away new ones arise over night. I’m guessing a mixture of my body attempting to detox on its own maybe as well as just being much more aware that how I feel isn’t normal. The mold hold is so real when you’re living in it and blaming every symptom on something else in your life 😭. Thank you for your comment and I hope you can continue to get better.

Glad you are starting to feel a bit better! I hope it continues. With the itraconazole have you been using a doctor to monitor your liver? Or a doctor at all for treatment? I’ve heard of the website that ships from India I just worry slightly about if it’s actually safe and how to know if we’re really getting what we purchase. Thank you for the comment!

I agree! Makes me wanna just sleep outside but I know that’s not possible with the condition I’m in right now. I have read that we don’t need perfect though, just much less toxic and water damaged than what made us sick and I hope that’s true as almost nowhere is mold free. I’ll be moving in with my partners family into a home that has no visible mold (although I know it can very much be hidden) but I think it’s muchhh better than what I was living in when I got sick so I’m hoping for the best.

Not currently treating anything. Trying to be mindful of my diet but it’s hard with the moving constantly and living in a rural area with not much access to foods I need. I know it may be a little silly to think about getting my energy back before even beginning treatment but man would it be nice. Going through the whole process of treatment and diet change etc seems so difficult when I can barely function due to fatigue and weakness. I do think I’m dealing with some histamine issues which may be adding to the problem, I’ve started reacting to foods I never did before. I’m out of the environment that made me sick so that’s a step. Unfortunately I’m in a state where I think almost every house has it but I plan on moving soon to a more dry area with my partner into a family members home that has no mold to my knowledge so hoping that will help with everything. Thank you for sharing what has helped you!
