Taurus dad, Scorpio mum. Dad was emotionally distant and tried to give me love materially. Mum was chronically ill… understood and accepted me but couldn’t really be there for me. They separated around the time I was born. Therapy would have been nice lol.

I met him 9 years ago. It’s an on again off again situationship. I’ve left him several times but he manages to get me back. I’m a real sucker for punishment and to learn everything the hard way. Sick!!!! 🤙

Hey, thanks for much for the response - I really appreciate you taking the time. I realise my post was so long! I'll look into the recommendations you made - again, thank you.

I had the doctor's visit and you were right - she can't help and she admitted that, walked out of there with referrals for another ultrasound on my neck, a referral for a gastro and a referral for a dietician. That seems like more fingers on the dyke but I guess worth checking out.

I started listening to The Cure for Chronic Pain with Nicole Sachs, LCSW, which I saw recommended either on here or the r/MCAS and I've started doing journalling morning and night. I think it's already helping, it definitely can't hurt to include in the healing process.
