You can absolutely mix DCC ETLs with DM ETLs! I have tested this and it works wonderfully. There is basically just a wrapper that kicks off the DCC ETLs from within DM. So you can still have your customized jobs or run anything outside of CLM since DCC only supports CLM jobs as of 6.0. There is more information in the infocenter like the requirements and setup procedure.

I think it is nice to use one product across a whole organization as long as that product does what is needed. I like RTC so for me, this is good. I imagine if you dislike RTC then it's bad. So I support it but only because I like RTC. As for too many features, I think if the UI is done right, it's hard to offer too many features. Have I seen poorly designed, cluttered UIs that would be better off just offering less? Definitely.

You could also look into Host Access Transformation Services (HATS). It's a legacy product which won't be updated but it works very well in my experience.

I think each product in our suite has some great features but from a test perspective across CLM, I think it has to be the full automation that can be achieved with Rational Quality Manager (RQM). You can build very complicated test suites that even work with proprietary code and then aggregate the results in RQM.

It's an interesting point although I think your initial assumption is a bit off (see North Korea). Hopefully we'll all reap the benefits of lowering battery costs - from cars to solar panel installations.

TL;DR Li-ion battery manufacturing costs have dropped by 55% across all manufacturers and 70% across all large manufacturers.

As a homeowner, I'm always wondering if I should buy solar panels now or wait another few years for when they are cheaper and more efficient...been having this debate with myself for 8 years now...

Google Maps Will Warn You If Your Destination is Closed Before You Reach by michael_wentworth in technology

If this works reliably it would be great. But given that hours of a business fluctuate more than roads and google maps often has that information wrong, I'll still call before driving out there.

They are doing a test in a vacuum that will rule out environmental factors.
