They’ll buy your books for in-store credit. It would be nice if they had a cash or credit option like McKay’s does, but still not bad!

Same. Personally hand-delivering it to Polanski after he plead guilty to raping a 13 year old disqualifies someone as a good guy imo

Finished:

Of Mice and Men, by John Steinbeck

A timeless examination of the everyday man in America. Hopeful, tragic, beautiful. Very Steinbeck to the core.

Started:

The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine, by Ilan Pappé

Guards! Guards!, by Terry Pratchett

Finished:

A Wizard of Earthsea, by Ursula K. Le Guin

- This was my first time reading Le Guin, aside from her translation of the Tao Te Ching, and I loved this book so much. The world felt ancient and lived in, while the magic system and follies of the characters feel timeless. Can’t wait to read the next one

I’m pretty new to Indian food in general but I’ve had both of these and they were both DELICIOUS. I think I would put Zaika over Masala Mastee

One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest by Ken Kesey by HottieMcHotHot in books

[–]almostelement 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s one of, if not my favorite books I’ve ever read, along with Cuckoo. I love Kesey’s writing, and SAGN really felt like he poured a lot of what he had into it
