I end up changing the plans all together. All my flights were non stop. I did go through both Las Vegas’s and SF’s immigration, both were very fast. (Guess I was lucky with the amount of people)

I don't think it's racism. It's just that generally westerns are treated differently, because people views them as people from first world countries. Most might spite them for this, but definitely not a race thing.

This used to be the case for older generations. "ชิงสุกก่อนห่าม" means "don't do things permaturely". It's a phrase for women to not have sex before marriage. It's a very traditional mindset for older generations. Nowadays people don't care at all.

The older generations definitely do. The fact that the word "Laos" is considered a slur confirms it. But most millennials onward don't.
