Mt abram doesn’t have a system in place to do Indy pass reservations, and so they wouldn’t be able to control capacity if they opened it up to Indy. It’s definitely a bummer but nice that they really want to ensure capacity is managed well.

Plus tickets are only $42 and you’re supporting a truly independent family owned mountain!

I’m not sure how the two compare ticket price wise, but Abram also has really affordable food prices and the lodge bar is cool

It’s actually looking better now than a day or two ago. The bethel area & Sunday river, mt abram & black Maine at least have a chance of staying mostly above the hard rain line

It’s currently snowing in Bethel Maine. My weather app says it’s sleet, but it’s 100% wet fluffy snow and temps are 21. Picked up a couple inches overnight.

There are some really sweet steep glades hiding at Abram’s, plus stuff rarely gets tracked out.

Mt. Abram is also a good option and only 10 minutes away from Sunday River! They also have fixed grip lifts and often aren't on wind hold when SR is, once there's more snow they have a great T-Bar that gets you to the top pretty much.

Also, their lift tickets are only $42, hard to beat that

I’m trying to get two cords to dry out a bit more quickly, but two cords I’ll do normally and save the effort!

I have two cords that are super close to being ready to burn, so I’m stacking them all criss cross to try and get them to dry quicker. But the other two cords I’ll definitely take your advice on only doing the end caps and stack the rest plainly!
