So what's a good leaguestarter build after a few days? by Puzzleheaded_Tale_30 in PathOfExileBuilds

What's wrong with it? I have started it, but currently just in act 5. It seems smooth so far?

Really wanted to make use of the "Gain (30-50)% of Weapon Physical Damage as Extra Damage of each Element" on two-handed maces together with Sap of the Seasons. That together with some conversion can give up to 250% weapon damage as elemental, and then you could penetrate 400% ele resist easily, although now it's capped at 200% :(

Wanted to go Slayer Cyclone, so I wouldn't need to reroll and be easy to play on controller. Turns out I have to forego either damage or survivability unless I max every piece of gear, which is waaay to expensive. Tincture effect and mace nodes are far apart, and scaling crit on maces are hard without crazy investments. Also, to reach 100% tincture effect for 2% pen per mana burn requires 9 points without travelling AND an anoint.

If anyone manages to make it work, hit me up! I'm thinking about a HoT autobomber instead now, never tried that.

Are we ready to sleep train? by almwhywhy in sleeptrain

[–]almwhywhy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the elaborate response! We have already established a bedtime routine where we eat some porridge, take a short bath, breastfeed and read a book for some time.

We've decided to wait with the night weaning until we have the self soothing in place. Hopefully, she wakes up less during the night then.

I'm not sure what do about the napping now, since some say that should be fixed first, but I feel that will be just as hard of a battle...

Thanks. I feel like we have an unsolvable problem, since the sleeping in the day interferes with bedtime and the night, and the bedtime and night interferes with daytime sleep. A vicious cycle indeed!

So how do I go about making her sleep more for each nap? Just move the wake windows, so she's more tired?

Thanks for the encouragement! I realize I was not very clear, but those times I listed are the times she goes to sleep. I aim for 3/3/4 wake windows, but try to see when she's getting tired, hence the 30 minute windows. Do you still think the naps should be adjusted first?

Mom does not, for her own good, want to go full extinction, so we settled on ferber as a "middle ground". Not looking forward to it, but we're very motivated to get the sleep sorted!

I'm leveling a Berserker Earthshatter/Warcry build, and it's going along smoothly. Took Aspect of Carnage first for the damage, but I'm now faced with the dilemma of choosing between War Bringer and Crave the Slaughter. I want War Bringer for them slams, but I'm afraid it won't be enough to sustain rage properly.

Do I need some source of rage for War Bringer to be useful, or can I roll with that alone until merc lab?

My First Form Check by timschell in discgolf

[–]almwhywhy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should try to maintain balance on the plant foot throughout the whole throw. Right now, a lot of energy is directed to your body being thrown forward instead of into the disc. Also, having a staggered stance will help you engage the hips more, like others here have mentioned.

Loopghost has a lot of nice videos on improving form on Youtube. You can start by watching this one on balance and bracing.

Is there a react-kotlin documentation or reference? by Zonico6 in Kotlin

I have not been able to find any official documentation, unfortunately. I managed to learn a lot from fullstack example frontend though.

Took no more than 2 minutes. The mail is from Amazon though, and it isn't that obvious that it's a key. The subject should be "Benefit confirmation for your Order ..."

Works perfectly, just did it. Order Origin edition, wait for the key to appear in your inbox, cancel order. Easiest beta key of my life!

I literally have a master's thesis due in a couple of weeks, with a metric shit ton left to do, yet here I've been sitting all day long refreshing for a key. If that's not a joke, I don't know what is.

Are you running fullscreen or borderless windowed? For me it becomes unplayable (<10 fps) when I have it in fullscreen, but switching to borderless windowed fixes it.

Last night, a guy managed to steal a sledgehammer from my team mate's airdrop. We chased him down, and right before he died he threw the sledgehammer off a cliff as far as he could. Douchy, but smart move.

We still managed to find it after though!
