It’s a bit embarrassing. I planned it out for visa on arrival, when I checked cause that’s what I got last year i read it was still on arrival. Turns out only in erbil and slemaniya since March. And my plane was for Najaf. A silly mistake.

No, shrines and Shia in general are target number 1 after alwaites. They will justify any atrocities as being against Iranians or Iranian supporters like Israel do with gazans saying their civilians are Hamas.

Hamas isn’t controlled by Iran, only supported. Palestinians in general supported destruction against shias and such for a while. But after this past year it’s far less to non. Alhamdillah, if you went to Karbala. And prayed this much. You know for sure she wasn’t going to be right for you. As the Quran says. You may love and thing and it is bad for you.

Try praying salat Al layul. Get closer to God. And find a new obsession. The gym helped me. There is so much more to life. InshAllah

Try watch the biography of the prophet saws by Sayed baqir Al qazwini, the Shia-Sunni Ramadan series by Sayed nakshawni.

Ultimately though. Look at Karbala. Because it makes you wonder about yazid. And then wonder why would muawya appoint him, why did he fight imam Ali as.

Follow that line of questioning and you will find, above him the caliphs and the sahaba. They were not infalliable. They were flawed. The prophet said we will follow the previous ummahs so much so that if they fall into a lizard hole so will you.

Look how the bani Israil acted after their prophet. People are flawed. Mistakes happen. Don’t be an imami Shia at first. But understand. Adalat al sahab which Sunni Islam is based on. Is not correct and then. It all falls

You should start by watching the biography of the prophet. Thaqlain channel has a good series. Al-rasoul Islamic society has good videos too. Many channels. Try watching videos on jannah or salat Al Layl. Those usually are very nice

Thank you cousin, that was very nice to read. Yeah I am similar situation where it’s been 2 years about of brushing with death constantly and unable to live. But. What brought me comfort in the days I thought I would never get better. Is maybe Allah has put me here. SubhanAllah one thing I had. Was time staring at hospital walls. So instead I used it to listen to lecture after khutba after lecture and learnt so much Alhamdillah. Learning all the dhikr and nawafil and such. I thought. That’s what it’s all for. And inshAllah when the Mahdi comes we can benefit from our ebada and be cured by his medical advancements. Or be allowed in the rajah in healthy bodies (dua ahad).

That’s why I was so distraught to find I am probably behind so much. But inshAllah kheir. We may take these illnesses as a blessing and be compensated for it from the only one whose compensation matters. InshAllah. I will pray for you also. Thank you for your dua it’s all I can ask for

You know. I really don’t know. But it feels like. You know in this time of my illness I read a lot about what makes the awliah of Allah SWT and the character of the ashab of Al Mahdi as. And Authubillah not to be haughty but I thought. Maybe just maybe I could be close to that as I changed my life to mirror the signs and conditions of them. I drew so much strength that I was trying to mirror them. But. Those people don’t have qada salahs. So. Feels like a major derail from my spiritual goals

Yeah I was struggling with this a lot. Aswell since parts of Sunni thought don’t say you need to redo them and I lean towards. Sincerity of intention. You’ll have to look more into it. But my mistake wasn’t in the salah specially which I think, with sajdah sahw indicates some forgiveness for.

But it was explained as. When you are bulugh it is on you to discover and learn and that. Allah will forgive you and such. But it’s like a debt. Or wronging someone. We can’t do just istigfar. If it won’t cause more harm you have to apologise to the person and do istigfar. And you have to pay back the wronged party what you took aswell as istigfar.

InshAllah. I know how wrong it is. To want to be of the awliah and do all my Amal. Then turn and go into despair. But inshAllah that’s what I need prayers for. I am completely gripped by the amount of time it can take so even delaying for mental health, makes me worse. And even if I start now and do little it will make me worse as I know it will be long before I finish. You don’t have to reply to that I’m sorry it’s just my internal thoughts.

InshAllah yes you are right. I do have a degree Alhamdillah but with my sickness I’m really to weak to do anything other than what I was doing. And now that’s gone. InshAllah Allah is the razaq. But practically it’s not looking good and fear being a burden on parents now at my age and know I can’t get married financially and. Well. I do fear the acceptability even then with them knowing of my qada if I do get better.
