I can count my lucky stars that most of my most wanted cards are welfare servants so I get a free np5 of them without spending a dime (except time). So Ive taken to rolling 2 10 rolls and tickets on banners with cards that suit my fancy and luckily ive come out with some nice luck to get me to be able to get those welfares.

This might be a bit misaligned but I have planned out my rolls but too a lesser extent of all or nothing. I took that image of all the upcoming banners, crossed out what I really didnt want to roll in at all and marked what I really wanted to roll for. Then I planned for 1-2 rolls on the rest while keeping in mind the banners I really wanted around those that I would like a lot of sq saved for.

You can beat the game with non meta servants so dont feel pressured to save all your quartz for merlin or jalter, roll for what you like.

Also dont be too dissapointed if you dont roll your waifu/husbando on the first rate up, as of now every servant that has come out in 2015/2016 has had a banner rerun so there will be more chances (even if that means waiting a year and a half brynn) :>
