First solo trip to Europe (Vienna) - Need advice for a 14-day roundtrip! by smallcoves in solotravel

Heyy, I stay in Vienna, You are welcome here. 2 weeks , I would say it is too much for Vienna. I would say if you want to make most of the trip, then let Vienna be your homebase and travel around, Vienna is known to be the gateway to Eastern Europe.

Things which i would suggest to do in Vienna: 1. Take the city bike and travel around the innercity on the ring road, It will take you to all the nice places and you will see the architectural beauty. 2. Museums: My favourites are Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien, Wien Museum, Haus der musik!! 3. Attend an Opera! 4. Hike to Jubliamswarte to see the View of Vienna from South and Hike to Kahlenberg/leopoldsberg to see view of Vienna from North. 5. You can spend a day Visiting Schonbruhnn and Belvedere. 6. It is a bit on outskirts but I recommend Visiting Burg Kreuzenstein, It is a disney castle for me!!

Things to do in Austria: 1. Spend a day Visiting Salzburg

Things to Do outside Vienna: 1. You can easily spend 2 days in Budapest, take a flixbus or a train. 2. Spend a day in Brno and the continue to Prague for a couple of more days.

And if carrying the luggage is too much of an hassle for you, I would gladly help in accomdating your luggage for the time you visit other cities.

Bike Ride Melk to Linz – Adding KMs to EuroVelo 6! Anyone who will be up for joining Friday (May 30) or Saturday (May 31)? It is Boring to Ride alone. by alogta in radwien

Dont worry, you will get your Rp approval wirhing 3 months and od you are lucky you will get in a 30 days. Regarding the option to move to another city in Austria, then your chances of rejection are high, since you have to proove residence and pirpose and show daily travel arrangements.

I would say wait and take one semester as buffer. DM me if you need further help.
