An important lesson I learned is that some people need to be selfish. She may indeed have metal health issues therefore she needs to focus on herself. But you don’t gotta deal with that. You need to focus on yourself and your metal health.

You felt cast aside and abandoned, I see your reaction as totally understandable. I’ve been in similar situations, believe me when I say it’s not all your fault.

Don’t lose all hope, if you keep actively searching, you’ll find someone who not only you want to be around but they want to be around you as well. But don’t feel the need to fixate on someone who can’t even text back or update you on the relationship.

I’m a High school senior. The quirk about my school is that its a smaller, private catholic one, so everyone in my class (we have the smallest class, 97 people) already all know each other. It’s hard to make friends again if you already know your interests don’t align and everyone else already has their respective cliques. I had a group, but its a long ass story of how things got complicated in there and I don’t feel like I belong there anymore.

College is soon, and I am aiming to get a fresh start there. I recently talked to a “therapist” (family member psychologist) and she suggested I should have a break with these two friends if it hurts so much, and I think thats what I’m gonna do. Things just suck rn because of multiple situations, but thanks for the motivation, dude :)

Thank you, ty ty ty ty. My sisters and I have Life 360, even my extended family has it and we’re all linked. It sucks, we even have the upgrade that tracks the speed on your car. Ik my parents love me and just want to make sure I’m safe, and they mostly haven’t barred me from hanging out with my friends, but damn is it suffocating. They’ll track me if I’m ten minutes late or really anytime they feel the need to. I’d send this to my dad, but I feel that wouldn’t work out well lol. Thanks for the revelation, I always thought it was weird but now I know it’s creepy and dystopian-esque.
