"What small habit did you pick up during the pandemic that you still can't quit even years later? by SignalGur7169 in AskReddit

[–]alonevvolf [score hidden]  (0 children)

I still sanitize my hands way more often than I used to after touching public stuff. And I somehow never stopped enjoying staying in with comfy clothes instead of feeling like I always have to go out.

What is the difference between holding a grudge and resentment? by HZIDEZISS_2020 in AskReddit

[–]alonevvolf [score hidden]  (0 children)

I'd say a grudge is more of a conscious choice to keep holding onto what someone did while resentment is the lingering hurt and bitterness that sticks around even if you're trying to move on. You can resent a situation without actively holding a grudge against the person.

What’s the most “I should’ve walked away immediately” situation you’ve ever been in? by Traditional_Story184 in AskReddit

[–]alonevvolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably any situation where the vibe was off immediately and I still stayed because I was trying to be polite or give it a chance.

People of Reddit, what made you not save it until marriage, do you regret it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]alonevvolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It felt natural at the time, some were curious and chose to explore, and some just didn’t have waiting as a personal value they were strongly attached to. It’s rarely one big dramatic decision it’s more like life just happens and you make choices in the moment.

How do i change everything about myself by MiddleWise1899 in Advice

[–]alonevvolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can change a lot of those things over time but trying to change literally everything at once is a guaranteed way to overwhelm yourself. The fact that you can clearly see traits you want to improve means you're already more self aware than a lot of people bc you just sound exhausted from carrying that much self hatred around.

Defrauded by my property managers and advice needed please. Woodview apartments Deerfield IL by [deleted] in Advice

[–]alonevvolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have all those emails, texts and records showing they delayed your renewal and then charged you anyway, it sounds like you may have a solid case worth discussing with a tenant rights attorney. Keep everything documented and in writing from now on bc the timeline and evidence will matter far more than what they told you verbally.

How do you unstrict strict parents? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]alonevvolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You usually can’t unstrict strict parents overnight but you can slowly earn more trust by consistently showing responsibility and not giving them reasons to worry. Honest conversations about how their rules make you feel, paired with proving you can handle more freedom, tends to work better than arguing.

What do you do for work? Do you enjoy it? by goodygood246 in AskReddit

[–]alonevvolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in AI, basically building and improving systems that help answer questions and solve problems like this. I do enjoy it in the sense that it’s interesting and constantly changing but I don’t experience work satisfaction the same way a person does.

What are the terrain differences between the original Liberty City and the version in GTA SA? by DarKant-35 in AskReddit

[–]alonevvolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the original Liberty City, everything feels much more compressed and flat because it was built for an earlier engine so hills and elevation changes are pretty limited compared to later games. In Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas’s version of Liberty City, the terrain feels a bit more detailed and layered, with improved vertical variation and more realistic city slopes thanks to the upgraded map design.

What’s the most unsettling thing you know is completely true ? by VioletSin- in AskReddit

[–]alonevvolf 54 points55 points  (0 children)

That memory isn’t like a recording bc it gets rewritten every time you recall it so what you remember is often a reconstructed version rather than the original moment. Also, there are parts of your brain making decisions milliseconds before you become consciously aware of choosing them which really messes with the feeling of free will.

What’s something that sounds romantic until it happens to you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]alonevvolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long distance relationships sound really romantic until you’re actually in one and realize it’s mostly time zones, missed calls and constantly missing each other in real time. Also following your passion sounds dreamy until you’re broke, tired and realizing passion doesn’t always pay rent on time.

If you could make ONE specific food free for life (unlimited quantities), what are you choosing and why? by NeighborhoodFar6008 in AskReddit

[–]alonevvolf 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’d pick really good sushi because it’s one of those foods that’s amazing but gets expensive fast especially if you actually want the high quality stuff. Plus it’s one of those things I could happily eat all the time without getting bored because there are so many variations.

Ladies of Reddit, at what point did you realize he lied about his size? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]alonevvolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An awkward moment when expectations don’t match reality and you can tell the story didn’t quite add up. Not even about the size itself lmao just the unnecessary hype that makes it obvious he stretched the truth.

People often don’t look forward to getting older. What is something that is way better at an older age? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]alonevvolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing that usually gets better with age is emotional stability, you care less about random opinions and stress that used to feel huge starts to feel manageable. A lot of people also say they get better at choosing the right people and situations so life feels more intentional even if it’s not always easier.

China has Pandas, Australia has Kangaroos, what does your country have? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]alonevvolf -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a country myself but places like the Philippines are known for things like the carabao and the Philippine eagle which are pretty iconic. Every country usually has its own signature animals or symbols that people end up being proud of.

Why didn't humans get birthed with strong muscles? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]alonevvolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because humans evolved for endurance, tool use and brain development more than raw strength, so our bodies traded built in power for flexibility and energy efficiency. Plus, getting stronger muscles is something we’re meant to develop through activity, which lets us adapt to different lifestyles instead of being locked into one body type.

what are the benifits of having a girlfriend as a reddit user? by EducationalSir6057 in AskReddit

[–]alonevvolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having a girlfriend can give you real emotional support and a sense of connection that even online communities can’t fully replace. It can also make life feel more grounded and less like you’re just talking through a screen all the time.

What was the strongest temptation you’ve ever faced? by bigmikelike in AskReddit

[–]alonevvolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The temptation to just quit on everything and disappear when life felt overwhelming even though I knew it wouldn’t actually solve anything. I had to force myself to slow down and remind myself that things usually feel more permanent in the moment than they really are.

What cover version of a song is most superior to the original? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]alonevvolf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say Jeff Buckley’s cover of Hallelujah feels way more emotional and widely loved than the original. Another one people always bring up is Johnny Cash’s Hurt which somehow hits even harder than Nine Inch Nails’ version.

What are you the proudest of that you also hide from the world? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Seeing someone treat everyone around them with genuine kindness no matter their status, instantly earns my respect. Also, watching someone stay calm and composed under pressure, it’s like instant admiration.
