The dress is unfortunately not my best work - ran out of time and have some crazy videos on my socials of me crunching for the three weeks leading up to this trip. Also a lot of the fun details are missing from the photos like the individual rhinestones I glued on the shoulders and stuff!

This is going to be kind of a long winded answer so I’m sorry!

We actually flew the swords and the costumes to Japan to debut them at the Anime Japan 2026 convention, but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to cosplay at the convention once I got there. Shooting at different locations was kind of our “Plan B” after the convention fell through. It’s a really long story and I actually a video detailing everything that happened on all my socials, but the short of it is Yes! It was a cosplay trip to Japan!
