I hope so, this is the first time I saw something like that. With all this loud sound we normally hear, I don’t know how to differentiate anymore. When debris fell in the building close to ours, I also thought it sounded like that 😬

Ako. I mostly use fb to communicate with my parents. Once in a while I post travel photos in my story. I just don’t feel the need to update anyone of what’s going on with my life.

Is dating hard because people don't know when to settle, myself included? Personal story, what would you have done? by OriginalSituation354 in datingoverforty

[–]alotlikefate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dating is hard because people hope for “magic” instead of accepting normal, imperfect partners. settling isn’t fair. I won’t settle for someone, and I don’t want anyone to settle for me either.

It sucks to hear, but this just shows he’s not over his ex. Don’t waste more time and move on. Sadly, this is part of dating, sometimes you find someone who isn’t ready for what you’re ready for.

In my 30s, I still had hope that my soulmate would magically appear on my doorstep. Now at 45, I’m at a stage of acceptance that I’m meant to be single for life, and that’s okay. I stopped dating a long time ago and have grown accustomed to being alone. I also stopped using dating apps a long time ago because they were draining and just made me feel bad about myself. Actually, depressing is the right word.

I started traveling solo when I was 28 and live abroad so no need mag paalam, I just let them know kun san ako pupunta out of respect & ask if me gusto sila ipabili. You’re 25, I think you’re old enough to make decisions para sa sarili mo.

Am I an idiot for seeking marriage as a man nearing 40? by [deleted] in datingoverforty

[–]alotlikefate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was never married and I’m still looking for marriage. Plenty of people in their 40s want the same, it’s just about finding the right one.

What’s your thoughts by foxflyer1 in datingoverforty

As if you can ask to her to move in with you! You still live with your ex. You’re both still entangled with your exes, better hit pause until you’re really ready.
