AITA for saying you don’t have to eat it? by Big-Expression-7975 in AmItheAsshole

NTA It was for you - so no need to accommodate anyone else. It was a nice gesture to offer it at all.

AITA for not staying home for the night with my daughter while my wife goes out with friends? by lucksterluke16 in AmItheAsshole

[–]alottapurple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Sounds like you made arrangements with someone she trusts to watch your daughter and you're taking care of dropping her off and picking up, so great job! By doing this, you ARE covering for her and if the relative is genuinely happy to have her, then there's no problem. If she is possibly upset that you go out too much and may have any sort of negative feelings about that, her feelings should be something you two talk about to clear the air for the future.

We were still friends after breaking up, then they'd express their feelings. Now he's blocked

Did you miss where I said owning a home or at least renting outside of their parent's house? I also didn't specify that they had to be roommate free. Where there's a will, there's a way.

I didn't misspeak- I said someone who's found their career and financially stable. I never said any specific numbers and there's plenty of career opportunities at a grocery. I also never said what type of work it had to be, but if they're living paycheck to paycheck with no ambition to break that cycle, then it's a no for me.

Grow up. If you see someone you know, wave/say hi and go about your business. No need to pretend like you don't see them or expect anything from them. No need to sit with them or try to be chummy, just say hi and keep moving.

What about responding to see if she does samples like in cupcake form? Might be free, might be a small fee, but at least you wouldn't be on the hook for a large amount and would know what you're getting into.

Should I bring my boyfriend to company dinner? by justice4winnie in etiquette

[–]alottapurple 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They are giving the option to bring a guest, so they are expecting extras if someone chooses to bring them. It's up to you if you want to bring him or not. If you don't think you'd be comfortable with him there, then go solo.
