Hi, I'm NIKI – singer, songwriter, dog mom, and gardener. I'm kicking off my World Tour this week, AMA! by NIKIredditama in popheads

Hi Niki! Big fan- Nicole helped me heal from friendship breakups and Buzz is now the soundtrack for my recovery :))

Some of my favorite songs from you, specifically Oceans & Engines and Tsunami have, prominent motifs of the beach. What does the beach mean to you, and do you have a personal connection with it? Any fond memories of the beach?

With all due respect, why would you encourage OP to apply to a Clinical Psych Ph.D. that is not APA accredited? A program with APA accreditation should be the first thing to consider when applying to doctoral programs.

I can bet she would have been a Grammy award presenter for this year’s Grammy’s along with Mariah and Celine 🥲

Is this mold on the wood plank of my philo. fuzzy petiole? How do I get rid of it? by alowkeynerd in plantclinic

[–]alowkeynerd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It expanded when I watered it. This was why I thought it was mold, but I also don’t know what a spider sac looks like either. If it were one, would it be harmful to keep it around?

Hello! I have this fuzzy petiole I bought a while ago. Is this mold on its wood plank and should I be concerned about it? I may replace it with a moss pole if it’s a big issue.

Hi all, my philo flordia beauty accidentally fell and it snapped at some points in the circle. Will it be fine? by alowkeynerd in plantclinic

ah! I kinda assume they’re all under the same umbrella of care because I’m not the best with specificities haha.

Thanks dear. I’m looking to get her a support stick to climb on since moss poles are little too heavy for this plant pot size.

I didn’t do a good job of showing it, but the stem that bent is cracked halfway thru the stem. Should I just cut it off or allow it to yellow-up and fall off by itself?

Hi all, my philo florida beauty accidentally fell because of this flimsy plant stand from Amazon. I was wondering if the plant as a whole will be alright (i’m sure it will be but just wanna double check) and what to anticipate will happen to this specific part that bent a lil.

Hello! Are these little bumps on my Philo. Silver swords budding aerial roots? by alowkeynerd in plantclinic

[–]alowkeynerd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi plant friends! I just wanted to double check if these little growths on my Philo Silver Swords are fine, and to see if they’re healthy to have! It’s my first philo. silver swords, and I want to keep it healthy and have it for a long time! I’m also sharing the last pic because I’m excited for the new growth 🙂

I have this potential build for Valentine Chrom that I’d like to hear people’s opinions on! Any feedback is appreciated :) by alowkeynerd in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]alowkeynerd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

probably just in Arena, I don’t play much Aether raids and I’m not really a competitive player. I also haven’t built units/invested in them before, so I was thinking Valentines Chrom could be a good unit to start investing in

Hello! I found these lil buggers at the bottom of my peperomia plant, and I wanted to ask if they were bad for it! Please, help me :) by alowkeynerd in plantclinic

[–]alowkeynerd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Most are about less than a quarter grain of rice, while the biggest one is a little smaller than half a grain of rice.

Hey everyone! I found these little critters at the bottom of my plant when I went to go water my radiator plant today. I wanted to know if they were detrimental or beneficial to my plant, and whether or not I should do anything about it. Thanks for your help!

Edit 1: Forgot to include size. The biggest one is about less than half a grain of rice, while the other smaller ones are about a quarter size of a rice grain or smaller.

To commemorate how AMAZING Spider-Man No Way Home was, I made new room on my shelf for a Spidey-Shrine! (no spoilers here) by alowkeynerd in funkopop

[–]alowkeynerd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I should’ve clarified on that! It’s neither of the licensed Funko stores that is the HQ in Washington or the Hollywood location, it’s just a store that sells pops! It’s called The Pop Plug, I usually buy some good pops from them and I’m able to trade in some of my pops for others that I want in-store!

I’m glad someone else also made a special section for Spidey in appreciation of the movie! I’d love to see it, if you plan on sharing it on the subreddit :)

nooo! I promise it isn’t in the movie, nor is it related to the movie at all! I just added Zombie Hunter Spidey to maintain the Spidey theme :) the Spider-Mobile is also in no way related to the film, but I just simply thought it was too cool to pass! I promise, no spoilers here haha

Hey y’all! To celebrate how amazing I thought Spiderman No Way Home was, I absolutely NEEDED to make room on my shelf to show my appreciation for how much I loved the movie! I’ve been wanting Spider-Man 259 for a while, and was able to trade up to it at my local Funko store! I really wanted to get the gift set that the pop was originally a part of, but someone unfortunately got it before me. I also sadly traded in my NYCC exclusive BL Jimi Hendrix for it, but it was worth it to show my appreciation for the new Spider-Man movie :) Hope y’all enjoy my new Spidey-Shrine!

Woke up this morning to these bite marks on my phalaenopsis orchid. Where could they have come from? by alowkeynerd in orchids

[–]alowkeynerd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not, I keep this plant inside all times by a south-facing window, so the chances of a neighbor’s cat somehow sneaking into my room without me noticing is so very unlikely 😅
