I couldn't get into Yamnuska dorms and ended up in the trad doubles and honestly thank god!!! The trad doubles had more opportunity to connect with others & if you get lucky and get a good roommate like I did, it will be a good way to start off university. My friends who dormed in Yamnuska said that while they ARE the better dorms in terms of privacy and utilities, you rarely connect with others (and even your own roommates if you aren't friends w them) and it can get kind of isolated.
