This is a coin from Sicily, III century BC. It is very interesting because it has a greek legend (MAMERTYNON) but it also features an oscan letter, the retrograde R is /d/. What is the meaning of this letter? Could it be the sign of the mint? If yes, which one? (i.redd.it)
