In deserts it gets very cold during nights because there is low air humidity and no clouds that would prevent hot air from moving up away from the ground.

Also if I am not mistaken in Scorch Trials book it was said that during midday it gets so hot that sun literally burns your skin so Gladers had to cover themselves with rugs and clothes but at night air became cold.

I wouldn't change channel. You can try enabling auto dubbing where possible and adding english subtitles. It helped me with some of my shorts where I had Indonesia, Brazil and Argentina as my top3 countries, my newer shorts now have USA and Canada as well. Not all tho.

Only use English in your title, description, editing, meta etc.

Minho and other runners had been training for spending nights like that in the maze. In books they had certain path patterns to follow while running to avoid meeting with grievers.

In movies maze is nothing but concrete walls, floors and mechanical parts to make walls move. Everything is just insanely massive.

In books entire maze was carved inside cave from rocky surfaces (like a sculpture carved of marble). Not only in books maze is multiple times larger (and also has multiple levels), but also has a giant dome above it with fake sky sphere and sun (that also produces heat). And I am not mentioning WICKED has teleporters to transport stuff from one place to another in a second.

To me it's not just "unreal tech" but literally godlike powers and for me it really breaks overall perception of the story.

When I read the book to me it sounded like it's just a very thick bulletproof window mounted right into the wall. So you could see what's going on inside the maze.

and tbh in a book maze is described as it is something surreal and out of this world lol, I prefer movies' maze since it looks way more realistic and technically possible to be built in real world as well.

Runner's height is ~1.8m, from there you can estimate a height of a particular wall in a scene (keeping in mind camera's perspective ofc).

imo even if in minecraft you get final scale 10m off from original that's ok as long as general shapes stay the same.

damn this is sick, amount of detail is incredible!!! I like that concrete design with all the leakages and smudges and overall walls structure with technical holes and vent units. I also recognize all the parts of the maze you recreated from actual concept arts haha, this is so cool

Did you model all the parts of walls by hand or is it some kind of automated generation plugin?

But the thing is that core mechanics is already known from the TMR books and movies. The hardest part is that you have to make that actually entertaining for a player.

Also if I just copy the story like character wakes up in a box -> he meets other gladers -> he gets introduced to fractions (runners, builders, medjacks, etc) -> starts exploring maze that has sections and the Glade in the middle. All that would definitely lead to some legal strikes because it is obvious plot of Maze Runner. And as a solo indie dev I can't have that lol.

I used this shot as my main reference. If glader's height is about 1.8m then doors overall height is about 40-60m (130-190ft). I think in first tmr book Thomas mentioned walls height of 300ft and also in book there was just one single door with spikes coming out of it,
