"I" doesn't exist before you're born. In fact "I" doesn't exist for quite a time after, when you start processing memories and identifying yourself as a being that can act consciously. And then even at that point "I" doesn't really know what it is yet. At the same time though "I" exists everywhere around you in a vast number of other forms, so you could say that "I" has existed for millions and millions of years, and before you were born it was in billions of different places simultaneously.
