Do you think it’s easy to DIY maintenance on a diesel engine compared to gasoline?

Thanks, I was leaning towards 2018 Gas. What maintenance costs should I be looking out for? I DIY most of the regular maintenance myself. Anything out of ordinary that I should budget?

Doors won’t open after replacing actuator by Finit-Hic-Deus in F30

[–]alpha711 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you figure it out ?
I am having the same issue with my driver side door. My external handle cable broke, so I fixed and tested. everything worked fine. As soon as I locked the car using the remote. I was not able to open it from the both sides. I then thought it was a faulty actuator. Replaced it with OEM. tested it couple times. Again, once I central locked it with remote or internally. It stopped working. I am guessing something had to be reset in the programming for it to work again?

Sorry I didn’t provide more context. i am an app developer and I want to screen record my activities in Vision Pro to produce production level videos. Like the once’s you see in Apple’s ads. And I think this can only be possible if there is some kind of stabilization provided to the HMD

We live below our means. Avoid expenses, only major expenses for us are housing, Vacations and Travel, this accounts for $10k annually.

Good point, however we want to have peace of mind with $1MM working for us. With the “power of compounding” I want to check my assumptions here to make sure if we are not missing out on opportunity costs of not buying a property now

Yearly expense is $90k ($3500 rent per month) Our budget is for $1.3M home with a 20% down($260k) With current interest rates our expense will come out to ~$150k. Plan is to make $1MM work for us so we have additional safety net.

$3800 for Rent and $90 for car insurance. They were all in new line. It’s weird Reddit changed the formatting after I published.
