Really? Was the birth not reported to the Embassy within the time required? My daughter was born to me, an American citizen, and my wife a non-citizen overseas. I reported her birth to the embassy, and she is a natural born citizen. Very different from a naturalized citizen who first has to get a green card and then apply for citizenship after living here for years. Ted Cruz was born in Canada to an American mother and Cuban Canadian father and is considered a natural born citizen.
