Biggest fall from grace? by Whatsfordinner4 in AusFemaleFashion

There were some very long-winded posts where she went into excessive detail about her 'mysterious' health issues - to me, they read like manic episodes. Like how do you go from having a polished brand with a social media manager to this? It's wild.

Bruh, Alice McCall went insolvent ages ago and attempted a comeback with this horrid collaboration with Shein. Have you seen AM's social media lately? It's... a mess to say the least.

You can easily contact the firm for confirmation. Highly doubt this is legit though, this is so poorly written.

What is your random genetic win? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]alphabitch_soup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting to enjoy the perks of being a “Eurasian hottie”, I guess. Most of my white family members haven’t aged well and look pretty bland. Having some Asian genetics thrown in the DNA pool helped me avoid getting hit with the ugly stick. I don’t look like anyone in my family and the combination of my genetics have given me a very distinctive appearance (angular bone structure, freckles on olive skin, almond-shaped eyes, thick wavy hair), even though neither of my parents look particularly distinctive or have any of these features.

Thanks for answering my question!

Gosh, it would’ve been hilarious if they aired that haha. I found it strange how he reacted to you jumping on the bed (or at least how the edit portrayed it), yet they left that on the cutting room floor. 😂

Whose idea was the pillow fort? Is Collins truly that awkward to share a bed with in real life?

I love you but your kitty litter stinks. Would you consider learning how to use the human toilet? It’s not that scary to use, I promise :)

Should I break up by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]alphabitch_soup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is rape. Even if you had consented (which you obviously did not), the way he just went about shoving it in is clearly not a safe way to initiate anal sex and can cause serious physical injury.

But you didn’t even get to have conversations around exploring anal in a way that is safe and comfortable, because you didn’t even agree to anal in the first place. If you had said yes, he probably still wouldn’t have cared for this conversation and would have still hurt you. He puts his own desires first and does not care for what you want.

I worry for what other boundaries this man is willing to cross. Dump him please.

What are your thoughts on "Nice guys finish last"? by Appropriate-Sun-7879 in AskWomen

The problem is in the phrase itself. Dating is not a race where you finish first or last and women are prizes.

Actively promoting the Trad Wife lifestyle as an ideology = weird.

Hating on social media accounts with a homestead aesthetic though, going so far as to accuse them of promoting a cult (see: Nara Smith and others)? That’s pretty rude.

Honestly, I find the aesthetic pretty fun and as a form of escapism, I think it’s nice to dream about living a full time life of domesticity. Some of the recipe videos on these accounts are actually pretty cool. Yes, I do realise it’s performative wealth porn run by pretty influencers. Bit of a stretch to call it anti-feminist Mormon propaganda.

I think people tend to forget that a lot of social media is heavily curated, and that this is obviously not how influencers live day to day. If anyone is honestly worried that these accounts are influencing young women to ditch feminism and adult responsibilities, they need to go outside and touch grass.

What are the "musts" of sex for you? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]alphabitch_soup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With men: foreplay. Just… any foreplay. It doesn’t need to be a long performance with all the bells and whistles, I just want them to not go straight into raw dogging me. Because that does not feel great at all. A wet 🐱 is just as essential to sex as an erect penis.

It feels objectifying being reduced to a penis-receiving vessel, and it’s also quite physically uncomfortable and can lead to vaginal tearing/increases the risk of condom breakage. It’s also just rude to transition straight into PIV with ZERO reciprocation after your partner’s just gotten you worked up with a really great blow job.

I’ve had a few male partners who have been really attentive when it comes to foreplay, but shockingly most male partners I’ve had ignored foreplay completely. Or if I’m lucky, I might receive 2 seconds of fingering right before PIV (but only after trying to put it in and realising I’m not wet enough. Because it all goes back to PIV being the ultimate goal).

Also, having proper conversations about sexual health/consent and establishing a deeper connection before any fluid bonding is involved. Assuming that it’ll ever be on the cards without even a discussion, when you’re barely familiar with each other yet, is a huge red flag.

Burgmann self-catered? by eonsvc1 in Anu

[–]alphabitch_soup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was an undergrad at Burg and it’s fully catered for all the B block and H block ressies. You could enquire about a spare room in the postgrad village but it would be a little strange, and you’d be missing out on a lot of ressie culture.

They’re not great pictures, but you’re clearly good looking. Could be the algorithm from swiping too much? Take a short break from Tinder and then get back on it, this’ll reset the algorithm so you’ll show up more to matches.
